  • Fresh food first. Beer second. Seriously, I eat mostly vegetables and I don't feel deprived of anything at all. The more I eat, the less my cravings become for anything else.

  • I have to say that nutrition is first and foremost. I personally have lost 50 lbs by changing my food lifestyle. Zero exercise (health issue). Hopefully there is a nutritionist involved.
  • I used to ask myself that. Then I had a wake call a couple of years ago. I switched to fresh foods. In the 5 months that followed, I stopped all my meds, lost 50 pounds, and have been able to maintain that coming up on 3 years now. If I WAS going to eat cereal it would be Lucky Charms and I'd eat the marshmallows first!!
  • A food scale, yes. When I first got one I measured the serving sizes versus what you'd typically eat, the difference is consistently up to 1000 cals per meal.
