Another thing that seems cooky is that we think we can measure our daily consumption of calories to any great accuracy (especially by believing the nutrition label which may be off by many % points) and also believe that our body is burning the exact same number every day.

I haven't done 5:2, but have been intermittent fasting for 18 months. Eat from about noon until 6pm. Just your alloted calories. It works well for me.

1,800 is so easy. If you drink coffee, put cream in it. Or even have a bulletproof coffee. Butter and cream in the coffee, and whip it in blender.

If OP has a problem with sugar, why can't we just accept it instead of telling the person just have some and you will be fine.

Keto is less than 30g carbs per day, usually. Doesn't sound that this is keto.

oops, sorry about that, I wanted to write that this was a great answer and to add that the OP should always strive to find food options that are very low carbohydrate, instead of trying to find ones that are normally high in carbohydrates to be made into some lower-carb version.

Do you mean, you don't lies weight when doing IF? I lost 30lbs skipping breakfast, and eating my daily alloted calories from lunch to dinner.

How many calories do you eat daily? I don't know what Y 3x week means and cheer coaching, what do you do there? I also would love to see diary of foods you eat. Do you snack?

Looking good, two things. I would supplement with vit D, and take in more salt. I am not sure why HDL didn't gi up.

I would eat something to cover the exercise time. Even 10-15g carbs?

Dr. R. Kraft studied 15,000 people and showed that there are many undiagnosed prediabetics with high insulin and normal blood fasting glucose. Your results basically mean you should lay low on carbs, so that you could reduce your insulin.

I would worry about injury at this stage. Why don't you walk really fast at first?
