Thought of another one - their light sour cream is TERRIBLE, it's SO watery.

I LOVE Trader Joe's, and this would be a much longer post if it were to include the things I buy weekly, haha...but there have definitely been some 'misses' over the years. The reduced guilt chicken salad - awful. Also the egg-white only, reduced guilt egg salad was really bad. I agree, their sushi is not good. I am with…

I'm in Michigan - so close and yet so far to that Maple candy bar, haha. Love maple flavor - I did try the new slow churned Vermont Maple Syrup flavor, and that was great!

There are a lot of individual portion dessert recipes out there, lots on pinterest. You can just make two chocolate chip cookies, or a mini cake or pie/one cupcake in your muffin tin. Nothing gets wasted or sits around being a temptation, plus you still get the good smell in the house. ;)

I want to try that one!!

I get most of mine from spinach. I have had trouble getting enough at times, and now I take a multivitamin that has iron. Before that I would eat a cup of Total cereal - 100% dv iron in that. Good luck!

This, totally. Weigh once a week instead.

I've tried them. I thought they were awful. :( I really like Quest and wanted to like these, too. Don't bother. Let me give you an alternative - Chocorite has a peanut butter chocolate bar that's not bad (for no sugar, that is) and less calories than the Quest pb cups, too. Edit to clarify - I'm not talking about their pb…

Power crunch is great, especially if you don't like the traditional, chewy-ish texture. Think Thin is fabulous, and I see Quest has been mentioned here plenty. ;)

If chocolate is a tradition for the two of you or something, skipping it might be taken the wrong way if she's sensitive, but otherwise just get creative and give her something else! I will add to this - the only thing that is SURE to get you "in trouble" is probably to give her, like DIET chocolate, haha, no sugar added…

I love overnight oats, so I tried some of the new yogurt/oat products this week (thank you Franc for the idea!). The Yoplait 'Oatmeal meets yogurt' (with the oval shaped container) were the best, I thought, by far. These: Every flavor was good! Yoplait/Plenti also has the round containers - those are not as much like…

My favorite dessert is half a kitkat (two sticks) - 110 calories

Two whole grain toaster waffles and turkey sausage

I like the halo tops, too - as long as expectations are appropriate, haha, they are awesome for the nutrition. I don't eat the whole pint, either, half is plenty! My local Kroger has two flavors, Whole Foods has four or five.

Hello from Ann Arbor!

I liked the carrot shreds, too! ;) I wanted to make it a little more flavorful, I might work on this soon, actually. Stay tuned, haha.

Tried some Flapjacked protein pancake mixes this week. I liked the consistency and texture of all of them (made them all with almond milk only), and they definitely kept me really full. I was most excited to try the banana hazelnut and carrot spice flavors, but, meh...they were just okay. The apple cinnamon flavor was my…

Haha - this is scarily accurate.

Target!

I've seen them mentioned in this thread already, but I had to come in here and rave about the new Luna bars (dark chocolate hazelnut, dark chocolate mocha almond, peanut butter dark chocolate chunk) - I never liked Luna bars before, but these are awesome. All the flavors I mentioned are great, especially the hazelnut.…

I like Power Crunch bars, they're like a wafer cookie. Really good - 13 g protein, so not as high as Quest (which I also like), but low carb and sugar, great flavors, about 200 calories.

I put ten grams in my oatmeal every morning. Very satisfying!

Me, too, I'm always around. ;)

When I was pregnant, I had a serious aversion to meat, with one exception!! - I always wanted Chinese food. :)

A Godiva gingerbread truffle.

I use a packet of instant, which is 28 grams. :) You might just need to play with the ratio and see what you like, but I eat this every day, it's great for me.

I add liquid egg whites to my oatmeal. Stir in 40-50 grams while it's dry, then cook it with 1/2 cup almond milk. You really can't taste the egg, it just adds protein and volume to the dish. :)
