  • I have hair loss that sounds similar. Google Telogen Effluvium, that's what my dermatologist diagnosed. He said to take Biotin and it has helped me. He also recommended men's Rogaine (I'm a woman, but the men's product is stronger he said. I didn't take this advice). Interesting method of diagnosing: he yanked about a one…

  • I recently developed foot pain from running which led to my first ever trip to a podiatrist. I assumed it was PF, and had started doing the stretches, but was diagnosed with metatarsalgia, or inflammation of the metatarsals. For me, the pain was in the ball of my foot. Icing, especially after running, including rolling the…
  • FlipBelt gets great reviews. I recently bought this . It would hold everything you said and doesn't bounce.
  • I run at night but always with my dog, he's my fitness buddy and security guard. If you don't have a dog, do you have a neighbor or friend whose dog could use some exercise? Just make sure both of you have a lot of reflective gear on.

  • I get good results from drinking Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Extra tea. The "extra" is valerian. I steep two tea bags in a big mug, add a splash of milk and drink it in bed while I read a bit. It's inexpensive, found at Target and grocery stores and is the difference, for me, between sleeping all night or not.
  • I use a half of an avocado in every smoothie, it lends great smooth texture and keeps me feeling full much longer.
  • I'm 5' 1.5", can I round up? My SW was 132.5, CW 120.5, GW 115. I know I can get there, but now at age 55 it will be interesting to see if I can maintain there.
  • An egg baked in a half an avocado, with some turkey or bacon, whole grain toast, maybe a salad. http://whiteonricecouple.com/recipes/baked-eggs-avocado/ I've never had this, but I saw this pic on line and it looks so good, I'm going to try it tonight.
