I try to plan my meals in advance, but sometimes things happen. If I don’t have enough calories for dinner I just skip it. Probably not the healthiest option but that’s what I do. I’d rather eat earlier in the day.

Avocado, all veggies, salad (guess that’s a veggie), jello, pudding, mashed potatoes, whipped cream, all forms of cheese cake or cream cheese in general...I feel like everything “normal” people like I turn my nose up at.

Hmmm, been taking it for years. I can’t say I have a large appetite. Maybe it regulates itself after awhile.

Thanksgiving has never been big for me. I only like the turkey and maybe stuffing. I hate mashed potatoes, gravy, any type of casserole...I don’t even like pumpkin pie. So, I guess I’ll be skipping just about everything but I’ve been skipping it since I was a child just because I’m super picky.

I have a BMI of 17 (underweight) but body fat of 22%. Had a baby, everything “womanly” comes at the same time every month...pretty sure this is just the way God made me. I think it’s a guide, but everyone is different.

Wow! Totally uncalled for and inappropriate. I would have been fired on the spot for talking to someone like that when I was an instructor. Everyone should go at their own pace in a class. Showing up is half the battle. I am so sorry for your experience and I hope it doesn’t kill your joy or sense of accomplishment.

I actually bring a food scale to Thanksgiving. Have come from an anorexic background, I get extremely freaked out by large meals. If I don’t feel like I have some control over my calorie consumption, I won’t eat.

I always order two chicken soft tacos on corn tortillas with no guacamole. I count each taco to be 400 calories (chicken, cheese, lettuce & tomato with one or two corn tortillas) to be safe. No chips, no alcohol, but lots of salsa and hot sauce.

You look really good. I love the colors with your hair. I'd keep the dress & congratulations on your anniversary!

So within the month of August I've been told twice I look like Gwyneth Paltrow. Which is weird. Because I don't. Some woman actually approached me at the grocery store last weekend. She did say "little, mini, Gwyneth Paltrow" (I'm only 5'2. 95 lbs) but it freaked me out a bit. Twice in one month. Pretty random.

My thighs at the thickest part are 15.5" which I think is slim. I lift weights & do tons of lunges & squats, I used to dance & was a cheerleader. I think if my legs were going to get huge, it would have happened by now.

Lots of stuff from Zara & H&M. I like trendy stuff. Street style.

The Killing and Broadchurch.

I love psychological thrillers. I mean, I love books in general, but ones with plot twists really get my attention.

I've had (have) both and I've found the Apple Watch gave me a more realistic calorie burn. I know this because I've maintained my weight for a long time and eaten the same number of calories long before getting either device.

I wouldn't put my trust in any electronic device completely. My first fitness tracker was a Fitbit & if I had eaten what the Fitbit said I could to maintain weight, I would have starved to death. It came back with something like 800 calories. Later, I wrote a review on Fitbit for a tech magazine and I contacted the company…

I feel a little bad here because this has never happened to me, not running, not walking, not standing in line at the supermarket, so I'm not sure if I'm just really unattractive or if I live in an area where the men show more respect for ladies (not that this behavior is good, I'm just shocked that it appears so common…

Hi, I'm a high school English teacher. I'm not looking to lose weight but I'm an avid calorie counter and all around pretty supportive friend. Feel free to add me.

I always look for a similar item in the database and then choose the highest calorie count. For example, there's a small pizza place near our home with no nutritional information, but I can see that a slice of Costco pizza has something like 750 calories. Since that's the highest calorie content I can find, every…

I've never eaten back calories. I just don't trust the "calories burned".

I'm 5'2. 40. My range is 95-98lbs. I maintain at 1400 calories. Sometimes I see a thread like this and freak out because people who weigh more than I do are eating the same amount but then I have to calm myself down. I've been maintaining for 18 years. I weigh myself daily. If something changes, I can make adjustments.…

I've always been slim (under 100 lbs) but saw a real difference in my middle when I cut out alcohol. Don't know if that's helpful or if you consider what I have as "abs".

1400 to maintain my range.

I used Beach Body on Demand and worked out with free weights. Now my daughter is two and she works out with me.

Hi. I've been in recovery since 1995. Some of the strategies which help me specifically are logging calories. I know what I can eat and maintain my weight. I can look back and see other "bad" eating days and realize it isn't the end of the world. I can literally go back to my food diary and say "wow, look! On February 20,…

I've been alcohol free since January so count me in. My goal is one year...maybe longer. I feel so much better.

I choose to maintain a low body weight because I like the way I look and feel at this size. I also don't really like food or eating. I understand that some people love the taste and smell of food. They can tell the difference in specific spices used, they cook, and that's awesome, I just have zero interest. To each his own.

I incorporate both. I can develop sore muscles from either.
