I am just getting back to it after surgery to relieve pressure on a nerve core in my neck. Roy Roy, may I ask what your symptoms were before your surgery? thanks, Christine AKA: lynnchristy Hey Christine, I started with numbness in my hand, mainly thumb and index. Hey Lori, welcome back to the journey. I'm looking forward to getting back on my bike come spring. I definitely prefer walking and biking over the gym anytime. Roy

Hi Sylvia, I don't think this is a group as such. I agree with Alligatorob, to bookmark the thread just click on the star at the beginning of the page. You can also go to Community and then click on groups. Search 60. It will pull up assorted groups. Look for one that is active and just join.. Hope to see you in one.

Time to get a head start on the spring. I hope to join a bike club and get my first 50 mile ride in. Feel free…

Trekk is a brand. The first thing you need to decide is what you really want to do and then how much you want to spend. If you want it for just riding than a hybrid is the route you want. Trails would be more of a mountain bike. Just road and more distance than it would be a road bike. I ride at least 20 miles a day on a…

Good luck, There are many that have gone thru this before you. You have the right idea. Slow changes. Remember this is a journey to change your life. The kids demand your time so it will always be an obstacle, but will always be what drives you. My best advice would be, be true to yourself in your logging. Remember there…

walking is where I started and what I still do.. I have added riding to my regimen now, but still walk at least during my lunch. Being active is important no matter what it is. Some can run, some ride, while others lift and cross train. I still claim walking is also a time to decompress the day. A clear mind allows you to…
