Looking for active friends!

I agree with the unflavored. Isopure is a good brand. I just got used to the unflavored taste...not great but not strong. Cut my carb cravings after a while :)

If the last comment was on the money....this is gold :)
-
Right on the money.

Make sure you're getting enough healthy fats...I know when I don't consume a lot of fat in the day it makes me so much more hungry

I work at GNC and we sell several different brands of this... I got a free sample and it cut some carb cravings one night, but I tried it again and it did nothing. It could possibly help you lose an extra pound, maybe two every month...but the Walmart bottle probably has 20 servings, so that's literally $30 per pound of…

Unfortunately I do not have this issue, but I have heard about it before. Have you tried anything to reduce stress? ...and how long have you had this issue?
-
I like the quick add option..I do agree with some of the other comments about skipping the samples altogether...but sometimes I really want that taste of that new yogurt, or that piece of whatever...just be more picky. Christmas cookies aren't going to be fun...next time you're at the store, look at the packaged cookies…

Try supplementing with a little iron...always talk to your doctor, but I've found this helps when I can feel that I'm low. Super super low iron for me makes me foggy and exhausted, despite caffeine

Add me too!! :)

I don't eat back ALL of my exercise calories, but I do log them and eat back some of them. It allows me some extra wiggle room and this way I have a better picture of my day.

Hello!!! I think this is a great idea :) My name is Geneva, I'm 20, from PA, United States. I love keeping busy...I work, go to school, attend church, and I do competitive Irish dancing. Back in middle school/early high school I decided to lose weight...which went well until my dad lost his job and I lived with Anorexia…

I struggled with anorexia for somewhere between 3 and 4 years. It never fully goes away, you aren't just "healed"...I know now how to manage my triggers. I probably should have gone to see a professional, but I managed to come through it on my own. I, too, am losing weight that I'd gained in "recovery"... I started out at…

Yes it is awkward...I never really know how to respond...but "Thank you!! I've been working hard!" Usually works... most people know I'm a dancer so I can usually move the conversation to dance competitions to avoid the awkwardness

For me, I much prefer a diet of whole foods...yes I know that artificial sweeteners etc SEEM to cause no problems, who really knows. I've seen some scary research about sucralose, etc and rather than risk it I'd just prefer to avoid it. I used to be all about the 100 calories packages of stuff, reduced fat everything...but…
-
I'm not going to tell you the fake sugars are poison, but there's definitely some concerns about the sweeteners (sucralose, asulfame potassium)....and for whatever reason, they make me sick and I suddenly crave really bad for you foods, especially sugary ones. So I avoid them. I love the cold steeping idea though!! Thank…

What exactly do you get with the premium subscription? Just micros?
-
White bread and stuff like that...I will avoid it at all costs. Now if I'm going to eat a world famous sandwich at a world famous restaurant THEN an exception could be made :)
-
Sounds like there was an issue at the Dairy Queen! Yuck!
-
Oh my gosh it's not just me!! I was reading how bad that stuff is for you, and so I completely cut out any of it...now it immediately makes me nauseous and a whole bar or drink now gives me diarrhea SO I'm with you on that. Why does it have to be EVERYWHERE????
-
Definitely try and up your calories...that's going to be a big help. Try adding in carbs before your workout, even a banana or piece of whole grain bread can be good! Don't get too low on calories either...in my experience with an eating disorder, super low calories are really going to inhibit your workouts!!
-
I just recently bought hemp protein, really excited to try it. It's a good natural source of iron and magnesium, both of which I seem to run low on. I'll let you know what I think!
-
This is so true...my boyfriend eats maybe twice a day though, so for him, the extra calories aren't a big deal. I do my best to make him healthy stuff too though!
-
Just be careful, I know I struggled with that the first time I lost weight...then my dad lost his job and things at home got bad. It turned into an eating disorder, which thankfully I reversed eventually...but I've now found better ways to channel that "compulsive" feeling. I do competative irish dancing, so after I reach…

Yes I love these! Natural sweeteners too

3-5 quest bars a day?
