Welcome to the IF community! I follow 18:6 for just a few weeks now and I love it. It makes me feel so in control. I would have to agree that yes you will save in groceries because I have. I no longer snack at night because I’m determined to stick to my fasting so I’m saving money there for sure! Join the intermittent…

Hi @smcentire3005 ! Feel free to send me an add! I am also a busy momma and I love having like minded women in my friends list so we can support each other. I follow 18:6 Intermittent fasting as well as a caloric deficit goal and I love fitness pal. I have been at my goal twice and once again I’m working back to it.…

@pierinifitness I just watched the video regarding the studies on IF and it makes so much sense. I’m so excited to be on this journey and I’m going to join the group thank you.

I’m fairly new to IF. It’s been about two weeks. So far I’m really enjoying it. I don’t find I’m hungry or maybe my mind is just refocused because I’m so determined to fast. I was going for 16:8 but I actually do 18:6. My morning routine of getting kids ready and to school then straight to the gym (I get so jacked when I…

Hi J.B. My name is Krystal and I have the same story. Busy mom life and all the guilt society puts on us to make everything perfect for our families means we end up neglecting our own health and needs. 4 years ago I weight 347 pounds and cried myself to sleep over and over again. I’m 5’9 with a large structure so my goal…

Why such a small window? I started IF almost two weeks ago planned on 16:8 but how my life goes being a busy mother I end up fasting 18 hours because I don’t want to eat anything after 6. I get all the kids to school then get to the gym by 9:30, home by 11:30 and make my fiancé lunch and have my first meal by 12:15. I do…

Hi I'm Krystal and I've dealt with obesity since I was in middle school. May 2015 I bought a scale and cried when it read 347 then flashed error. I cried all night. My husband by my side we needed a real plan so I could live my best life and be here for my kids and him. The next day I called a clinic and booked a consult…

Hi Kelly. Surgery was June 12, 2015. Had my last fill end of October so I'm now a 6.5 and I'm right where I want to be. I get very uncomfortable if I try to eat more than I should. Not entirely sure what you mean by average food if you mean what variety or amount. I do my best to stick to lean meats like chicken and turkey…

Feel free to add me everyone! My diary is open and I'm pretty consistent in logging. My goal is 1400 but I usually hit between 1100 and 1300. 66 pounds lost and 112 to go.
-
Also 28 and married but female. IM Down 66 pounds and still have 112 to lose. Not taking anything but looking for motivating friends.

You are awesome! I have just started trying to jog intermittently during my 7.2 km route and my 3 year old who is 42 Pounds just loves it! When I input my calories I just put a regular walk and chalk up the extra calories as a bonus! If I have to take two kids I put my little girl (18 months) on my back in a hiking carrier…

Wow you have done incredible. I started a little bit higher than you at 347 and have lost 63 since April. Very inspiring. I hope we can be MFP friends

6/14/15 Lapband. not sure what all the acronyms are for. Would love to find a twin or someone who has had a surgery who is around my same weight now. I'm 294 total of 52.8 pounds down.
-
Hi I'm down 47 lbs but still have about 135 to lose. Add me if you like and we can encourage each other :)
-
Thank you! I'm excited and nervous all at once. I've never had surgery, never broke a bone and haven't even had stitches!
-
I've been on diet Rollercoaster my whole life and a couple years ago got down to 220 and was feeling good but could not break below that. My goal is to get down to 170 wich is less than half of my start weight so I have a long way to go. My surgery is scheduled for this Friday morning and as of this morning I'm down to…

Soon to be banded!

Which surgery are you having? I'm booked in for a band June 12th. Nervous but more excited. I was 11 years old when I started my first diet. Now I'm 28 and I don't want ten years to go by and I wake up still struggling. I'm doing this first for me then second for my family.
