I gotcha 😊 I guess what I was meaning was that I know protein is required to repair muscle and I was wondering if one source worker more efficiently in that. Thanks so much!

Yeah I try not to drink them but I have a hard time getting an adequate amount of protein, especially now that I’ve started weight lifting. Typically I’m hitting maybe 30 grams a day without supplementation, so I’m keeping them around while I try and uptake my protein with food sources😊

Yes girl!! congratulations!! This happened to me when I stopped eating out all of the time, and cut out soda and sweet tea (my favorite) in order to save money! Would love to stay connected and keep each other motivated!

Hey, you seem pretty knowledgeable and give good input around this community. I was wondering, (I know everyone is different) would you say that it takes 2 months or more until your body starts burning fat? I'm loosing now but I know its water weight...

Hi there, thanks for your input :) Ive been following Dr. Eric Berg on youtube and he suggests 1-2 meals a day, so that what I've been trying. Im 5'2. Recently went from 165-152, but my temporary goal is to get to 130. Ive been getting between 800-1000 calories in per day.

But are you eating a lot of grams? Because my macros are 25% protein but still only consists of a small amount of grams

With the one meal a day, I’ve been getting about 600/700 calories.. but I haven’t been hungry either except late at night

I am 5'2 and I weigh about about 150 pounds. I don't know my BMR or any percentage of body fat or any of that jazz. I workout about 4/5 times a week.

By stats I'm assuming you mean height, weight, etc?

Yes in a calorie deficit. I’m eating 1200 a day, still clean eating though, along with exercise!

Hi there 😊 I’m trying to lose about 30/40 pounds (long term goal) I’m 5’2 and I weight about 160. I’m now in a calorie deficit eating 1200 calories and I workout everyday. Scale is decreasing but of course seeing the difference will take time I’m learning.

[/quote] To be honest, I have no idea what is appropriate for me, I just picked the lowest caloric goal I could sustain for a few months. I eat from 12pm-8pm and usually have no hunger…

Yeah, trust me I definitely appreciate the nutrition in a nice piece of homemade chocolate cake :p But I'm eating 1200 calories a day so I'm saving MOST of my calories for big and nutritious meals. <3
