My oldest pair of Chucks. Had them since high school, 1992. Took them out this weekend to a Sublime concert, wore them to a Sublime concert in 1994 at a club in Hawaii.

I've been aware of my asthma my entire adult life. I probably had it as a kid, but was never diagnosed (I grew up in the 80s, you just dealt with crap good or bad). I played sports all year, softball, basketball, swimming, soccer and just thought, "you suck at running". When I was 20 I joined the Army and still struggled…

Last time I bought clothing for work: Liz Claiborne 1x tops, 16w pants or from Torrid size 1 shirts 18 pants. Lee Jeans 18w. Dickies Pants 20. Dickies polos xxl.
-
They run really big. I would say that xxl is equivalent to plus size 2x. For me personally, all of Old Navy's clothing fits weird and I usually only get the occasional sweater there.

Awesome progress! You have the same goals I do, but I'm starting from much higher.

I eat one of the following selections: 1. Greek yogurt and berries (pre packed the night before, grab and go in morning). 2. boiled egg with some sort of fruit (right now its all about the berries berries berries). 3. Eggo waffle with peanut spread on it. 4. If I have a few minutes in the morning (Never!) scrambled egg…

I have resigned that I will never kick Coke completely and why should I? A couple years ago it was a once a day habit, then it became a few times a week, and now its a special treat. I drink full Coke, and not the US stuff... sorry but that fake sugar is gross. Mexican coke is made with real sugar and its the taste I…

Looking fantastic!

Awesome job, your body looks very good, very healthy.

Awesome job. Love the X-files running shirt.

Truly amazing!

+1 on this. I think this is the very adult way to handle it.

I went through this last month. If you are a heavy Apple user, I would recommend the Apple watch. I've found the heart rate tracking to be very accurate and it motivates me to move more through the day. The one downside to it currently is that the Native Workout App needs some improvement. I bought it when it was on sale…

19 US Army bootcamp, only time I shot an M16, carried an M249 the rest of my time in and LOVED it. Now I have a few guns, my daughter doesn't like them, but she knows how to check the safety, safely unload them and hold them.

You are looking absolutely fantastic. Congrats on all your hard work!

Not everyone can jump full in and I totally get that. Go in slow. Try taking what you normally eat and reduce how much. Do that for a few weeks, see how it goes, then maybe add some exercise, or try and follow your recommended calories. It took me a long long time to realize that this weight didn't come on all at once, it…
-
Amazing! How tall are you? Your starting looks very similar to mine.

That is awesome! Your hard work is showing!

Nice job Alison! SW 246 Wk 1 244.6 Wk 2 242.4 Cardio all week, it's getting easier and the elliptical and I are becoming friends (not really but I tell myself that).
-
Didn't make it to the gym today, but pulled up youtube and did a 30 minute cardio video from Body Project. Didn't want to start it today, but glad I did, felt great afterwards. Weights tomorrow with some cardio.
-
I think that is a completely unfair statement. I use PF for cheap cardio in close proximity to my house. It's clean, it's open 24 hours a day. I don't always get to go at the same time every day and I need a flexible place for when I want to jump on a machine. I have my own dumbbells (which I'm outgrowing) at home and when…
