It’s hard. I have 4 kids, the largest of whom was 10 lbs at birth, and I’m stuck with some excess skin. I am 5’5”, 130 lbs, size 2-4. It’s my hips. My waist is smaller but I am always going to have crazy wide hips. And I believe at this weight in high school, as a nationally competitive long distance runner, I was size 6-8 so I’m seeing vanity sizing too.

I did a cheat meal once (even thought I reigned it in slightly). Felt guilty, tried to log it, and realized it was like 3000 calories between the appetizer, meal, dessert, and drinks. I didn’t read all the comments, but my office performs cool sculpting. You are a perfect candidate. It is safe and very effective for targeted fat reduction. It will not make a fat person thin, but it will decrease a stubborn roll by 1/4 to 1/5.

I had trouble when looking at my BMI. For me (5’5” female) my normal range is 111-149 lbs (huge, eh?). Thanks. My doctor is not worried about my muscle mass, just my mental state. I’m actually pretty well controlled, believe it or not. I don’t specifically lift; I do t25 with some light weights. I probably should “lift heavy”; I just do everything at home, not at a gym, so that complicates things. I have 4 busy kids.

I think you are dong great. I get that you are frustrated, but it’s early. There is no way that you gained a significant amount of weight on your current regimen, even if things are not weighed perfectly. You’re not off by 1000 calories a day or anything! I bet it’s water. Ugh -- didn't post my whole post above, sorry! Anyway, my issue is my 125 lb number came when I was dehydrated after a workout and hadn't eaten. I was 126.3 this am. So I figure I should switch to maintenance when I am at 122.5 at my low and alternating between 122.5 and 127.5 throughout the day? I'm excited to be so close…

All these ladies have exceptional advise, but if it helps any I am 5'5", and lost 5 lbs (from 133 to 128) in the past 5 weeks and am worried I am going too fast! To me, your rate of loss sounds perfect.
