Meditate, go jogging, take first golf lesson (ever!) and stay awake for symphony tonight.

Bok Choi is a favorite of mine because you can harvest by cutting it to the ground and baby bok chois emerge in a few days. Magical and delicious. You can eat the raw in salads or cooked.

Compression tights make your legs feel energetic yet relaxed. Not much evidence they make you run faster, but they feel, well, zingy!

Garlic, onions, tomatoes help. You could also add a small amount of spicy sausage for a kick.

The more tea I drink, the less likely I am to to feel the impulse to snack. I drink black and green tea varieties in the morning and herbal in the afternoon and evening. Trader Joe tea varieties are very good. I like their Chai and Pear & Ginger especially.

5'3, 115 lbs US XS, 4, occasionally smaller depending on the brand. I always go for petites for pants, usually for skirts and dresses, but don't need petite tops.

I'm in for 40.

IT was so beautiful today I ran way to fast and ended up with a short run and a longer walk. :-( Well, will try again tomorrow. it was nice running faster though. I'll get there if I keep going!

Just about over cold, it's been four weeks since it started. Sure has slowed me down for this month. If I can't reach my full goal, I am still aiming to return to 10-12 miles per week.

I have a fitbit charge. I like the feedback it gives about my activity level. I thought I was really active on weekends, but it turned out I was actually less active. I walk a lot more at work going back and forth between meetings. On weekends, I don't do much other than deliberate exercise. I've definitely increased my…

Slow start this month. Runny nose and early dark have been challenges.

Mild night, not too many piles of leaves. I used my husband's headlamp and it sure beat holding a flashlight!

I'm going for 50 miles this month, 10 more than last month. It may be overly ambitious since I'm starting the month with a very bad cold and am not sure I'll even be able to walk around the block today.

taco sald, don't eat the deep fried taco. Our local mexican restaurant does a spinach mushroom burrito that you can get without cheese which is very good. You can take home the sides for another meal.

Ran after dark with the moon tonight.

Maybe make it simpler? Kale, banana, yogurt and honey? or Spinach pineapple, carrot, yogurt? Let the fruit flavors shine through!

I lost weight by tracking and eating portions rather than counting calories. For instance - Breakfast 1 serving carb, 1 protein, 1 fruit, 1 vegetable etc., ending up with 2-3 servings of fruit a day, 4 servings of carbs, 3-4 of protein, unlimited vegetable, 2 servings fat It kept it simple. I had the three basic meals and…

Hit my target! It was very challenging run, humid, disappointed I couldn't take the route I preferred, ran too fast for a while and got a stitch, but, finished very well, really enjoyed the last mile.

Super resistant to going out today, a bit moody and cranky. Had a nice run. At one point looked up and saw a large hawk turned golden by the setting sun above, wings spread wide. Still feeling moody but less cranky.

I did water aerobics (deep water) while recovering from plantar fasciitis.

Inspired by all the runs posted here, and so many accomplishments! I am really enjoying learning and sharing. Thank you one an all!

Bad days are disappointing but you're building your strength and endurance anyway. Good to discover how eating before running affects you too. I had a good run today and have had a few great runs too. I am sure that they would not have happened without the many yucky and less than stellar runs I've experienced.

4.5 miles today, farthest I've run in years. And with a cold too. It's only 41 degrees out here, so this was my first run that truly felt like fall. Enjoying seeing the pumpkins, ghouls and halloween decorations going up around the neighborhood.

If you don't like fresh greens, use a blender or nutribullet to throw bagged kale or spinach in with unsweetened almond milk (or regular milk, yogurt kefir). You can add a banana for sweetness, or frozen fruit. If you don't mind rinsing off greens, you can just by a bunch of leafy kale and rinse off a couple of leaves…

Halfway through month! Missing the long days of summer. I really enjoy running outside and am planning to continue this winter. I usually don't make it into December. I'm inspired by the talk about winter prep.

I love brown rice. It's chewy and fragrant. I feel full after eating brown rice. White rice is much better in sushi however!

Passed half way just in time for the middle of October. With earlier darkness it's been harder to get out during the week.

hard boiled egg is a great snack. ALso, you don't have to eat a lot of nuts. 7 almonds plus a small piece of fruit like a plum is filling or small apple or pear.

Congratulations! You look and sound just wonderful.
