@wellnesschaser Thank you! It came with a waist tie which I can't live without, it's from a standard size range so I bought it in a UK10/US6 so it swamped me but covered my bum. My waist is 8-9inches smaller than my hipbone measurement so I just look like I'm wearing a rectangular sack most of the time in 'today's trends'.…

Bringing this back, everyone. Time to get those NSVs out and show us what you've been winning at that isn't on the scale. For me, I had a major one because I had a ring I bought from a theatre I love in a size medium in 2007, I wasn't big when I bought it probably a size 12/US8 but I wore that thing every day for about 8…

ASOS tall range and depending on what I need it for, I've had some good stuff from Boohoo's tall range. Cheap and basic but I got this maxi in the sale for £12 and I love it so much. My brother and sister in law just bought their first house so I'll probably wear it to their housewarming. It has lovely keyhole back detail…

It's kind of hard to find pictures of me at my highest weight because like most of us I hated the camera and I knew 'my angles' to make it not as noticeable as it actually was. 220lbs (probably higher as this photo was from 2014 and I started my journey in 2015) > 137lbs today (rainbow croptop is a photo from today). I'm…

Obviously, not overeating is key. Personally, I think my thinness is a combination of genetics, I have a small frame, and the fact I do kickboxing. It's heavy cardio and bodyweight training, so it doesn't lend itself to packing on muscle. Not that I think Crossfit does either, tbf. You just started working out, I assume?…

@rianneonamission Could be a bone spur? Could be one of those lumps that turn up and go away, I had something similar and my GP told me that people used to drop heavy textbooks on them to make them go away. I don't recommend that as mine wasn't painful at all,. Height: 5'10/11 depending on who you ask medically. SW:…

Have you had an x-ray? How are your joint spaces? What is his best guess if it's not arthritis, RSI? I completely forgot that my mum has ankylosing spondylitis (a type of arthritis that primarily affects the spine) so jeez Louise, our parents handed us a couple of duff hands, huh? How did your dad's hip replacement go?…

@rianneonamission It's conservative (physio) to start with to strengthen the surrounding muscle but if I still don't have my full range of motion/at a manageable level of pain/discomfort then it's surgery. The labrum has a minimal blood supply and cannot heal itself. Surgery would be to preserve the labral tissue I have…

April 30th: 142lbs. 22.3% body fat. May 8th: 140lbs. 21.6% body fat. May 20th: 139.4lbs. 21.5% bodyfat. May 31st: 137.2lbs (avg.) 21.1% ish. I'm leaner than I started the month, I can tell because my smallest jeans I own fit pretty well now and my inches have decreased (33-27-35 > 33- 26-34 ) but it's a bit of dehydration…

@rianneonamission Hopefully progressing. It's four weeks today since I did the injury (Dr suspects grade 2 tear of the ligaments), but I'm getting a lot of referred pain down into my knee and occasional throbbing in my groin so I'm leaving the decision up to my physio, who I'll see soon, as to what I should and shouldn't…

April 30th: 142lbs. 22.3% body fat. May 8th: 140lbs. 21.6% body fat. May 20th: 139.4lbs. 21.5% bodyfat. I'm still injured so I'm not really checking my weight/BF. Do I loathe being under 140? Yes, but I have to get better (I currently can't walk for extended periods of time) before I can get strong again. Also, I don't…

Could be you're placing too much stress on your body. All of that exercise and 1200 cals even at your height is very stressful. I hit 154 (I'm 5'10/5'11) and I could not budge it from there despite not being happy with how I looked. I backed off, stopped pressuring myself to lose the weight, maintained, and I went on to go…

I agree. I've lost over 70lbs since I joined MFP and I did that exercising and not exceeding my calorie intake. Low fat things end up having sugar added into them to make them taste better for having the fat removed so it's all swings and roundabouts. Just limit those bad cholesterol foods for yourself and it should all…

I wanted to answer this but I can't actually remember what I wanted to do for my goal and if I did it or not. I had mini goals where I did things like 'start a new exercise', get a new piercing - I only kept my second and third holes. I do, however, remember at the start wanting to wear a pair of Nike leggings in a size…

I don't think we need to go out of our way to gain weight, but having a 'bumper'/not being a super low BMI exists for a reason. I'm 29 and in the last year I've had an emergent appendectomy and my father died. It took 7lbs from me I didn't really have to lose. I'm 5'11ish and I went from 145 > 138 > currently 140. To go…

April 30th: 142lbs. 22.3% body fat. May 8th: 140lbs. 21.6% body fat. I'm not currently in training (iliopsoas strain, luckily) so I'm not carrying any water weight, hence the 140 and the probably higher than true BF reading. I'm looking tighter, but it's the lack of water. Still taking it easy, I'm allowed to straight box…

I'm hopping on. I'm not so happy with my percentages/comp, I feel flobby as my body fat is up so that's where I'm focusing. I've got about 0.9% of BF between me and my lowest ever BF weigh in. 2.3% would bring me to half of my body fat lost since I started losing. Height: 5'10/5'11 I've measured as both. April 30th:…

Yeah, it's going alright! I've got a stupid tailbone injury and I had a hip strain which has set me back in my training, but in general, my weight is up (142ish), yay, but it's more my BF which is less yay. I don't mind [my BF] being up, I just feel not good from so much Easter chocolate, too many nights out and pizza.…

This is so relevant to me. I got a strain in my hip flexor after subluxing my pelvis and I couldn't lift my leg off the ground, I was down for the exercise count. I exercised no control of my food/alcohol intake (cold brew and bailey's, you fiend!) and here I am 4 weeks later, 2lbs up. Not a huge deal, I could even…

Just popping in to cheer you all on. Just going through and there's so much progress since I was last around, you guys are really working it. <3

I remember last year where I basically said from Christmas Eve till Boxing Day I was going to eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted, and when the smoke cleared, I had only gained a pound. That being said, I'm not a drinker so someone who is might struggle more than me in that arena. It's the last push before the holidays…

Still 139! (I'm 5'11.5) As if the hits don't keep coming, I possibly have an ovarian cyst that has, or is waiting to burst, so that's nice. I hope you're all doing well!
