  • Hmmm... Yes. It is pain. Unless i eat a cheeseburger, large fry, a coke and a chocolate shake (or similar) it is always there. I just ate (healthy) lunch. The pain (hunger, whatever it is) was there while eating and is still there now.
  • Nope. No meds.
  • Typically, I've found that coffee helps curb the hunger and the caffeine amps up my workouts. But maybe i need to reevaluate... Anyway, 2000+ calories today. I've not purchased a scale yet, but i logged everything i ate best guess estimate. I'm very hungry. My stomach is audibly growling. :/

  • I like to snack on popcorn too. I heard that microwave stuff is really bad though, lots of ingredients. It's actually not hard to make on the stove, cook it in a little coconut oil and just add salt when done. Mmm i think i might have that for dinner tonight... I mean with dinner :)

  • Many of the days that are not logged on here were tracked on paper. I would love to eat less. I want to so badly. But even now for example, i just ate 1 & 1/2 bun-less cheeseburgers, 16 oz of water, and 6 mini 3 muskateers (plz dont judge me) and my stomach is still rumbling/i feel VERY hungry. And i ate breakfast today…
  • I haven't checked my measurements. I just kind of go by the way my clothes fit. I can tell I'm carrying more around my middle (oh, just wait till you turn 35 - I definitely felt different after that b day) and my inner thighs. But what's an accidental recomp?
  • I usually sleep pretty well. Though last night i didn't and would up eating cereal :/ but then i breezed through my run. Anyway, i think you make good points an will take your advice.   • I eat lots of veggies. But fiber might be on the low side because i try to stay away from grains.
  • Im not losing weight on 1500-1600. Though.... The days I'm sick of being hungry and go off the "diet" i don't log my calories (too depressing) and am probably undoing all my starvation work. Maybe if i shot for 1800 every day, id be happier and would binge less.

  • I would suggest you high intensity interval training. You said you're running and walking. How hard are you running? Try a peak 8, meaning 8 cycles of 90% effort (sprinting) and corresponding recovery period (walking), for 2 or 3 of your workouts each week.
  • I watched it. I will try measuring more consistently. I've been trying to restrict calories for years. And it has worked for me in the past. It's just been lately that a decline in my metabolism seems to coincide with an increase in my appetite. :/ i think it might be peri-menapausal estrogen withdrawal. :/
  • I've been at this for YEARS. started my journey at 155 lbs and a size 12. Now, im 140-145 and a size 4 or 6. I'm 37 and can fit in my prom dress. Lol. I can run for hours at a time and lift very heavy weights. A couple years ago, i got down to 128. I was really depressed at the time and was on meds that killed my appetite.…
  • I dont eat chips (i like pizza, beer, chocolate, and icecream though i fight to refrain most of the time :smile: ). My usual snack is a cucumber. I drink a gallon of water a day. :disappointed: If i ate just 1200 in a day, id be crawling out of my skin/in tears by the end of it.

  • I dont weigh my food. Some of it is eyeballing. But, regardless, im still starving... All the time. If i really dont have a deficit, and i should be eating even less... My appetite disagrees. :anguished:
  • Obviously. :) i really dislike feeling hungry all the time. I move a lot. It's hard to eat less when every waking moment my stomach is growling. How do i cure that so i eat less??? :)
  • At this point, I'd gauge my success by the way my clothes fit rather than what the scale says. Don't even step on it for a while. :)
