Your address in my life....

In college. A few of us all drove to church together every week, but they were older boys and I was too shy to get to know them well. Actually my best friend had a crush on him for ages so it took me a while to stop considering him "off limits" and agree to go out with him when he asked

In my personal relationship, yes. I have a long history of eating disorder and if I hit a point where he really thinks I look too thin, then I'm probably having a relapse. Conversely, I never mind his gently suggesting we re-evaluate our diet and work out together -- if he thinks we need to, I've probably also noticed my…

I wound up getting a uterine ablation after baby #3 because I was getting two full cycles a month instead of just one. Now I'm getting just one light one with none of the awful symptoms I had all my life. Unfortunately you can't have any more children once it's been done so it only works if you know you're through.

That sugar and starchy carbs throw my blood sugar way out of whack and make me feel sick. I thought it was normal to shake all the time till I switched up my macros and suddenly felt human again. Not to say I never have them anymore, but I'm starting to learn how to manage their timing and quantity.

Haha yeah I've also got 'old' and 'not cute' on my side. I've never been spoken to at the gym unless someone wanted to work in. People there are pretty good about not bothering anyone wearing headphones though

This. RBF is a blessing for an introvert who doesn't like or isn't good at small talk. The number of times in my life some condescending man (never once a woman mind you) has told me to smile as if he were doing me a favor by reminding me my face didn't please him is ridiculous. If someone wants to say something kind then…

Some of us have social anxiety and hope we're invisible at the gym. Talking to strangers is scary for me no matter where I am. I'll always return a smile though (if I'm positive I'm the one being smiled at). Fortunately for me my gym is full of college guys who couldn't care less about chatting up a 30something lady.

Also a SAHM. Nice to meet you

It doesn't make hubby any less hot either. I don't care if my guy thinks other girls are pretty because I know he thinks I'm pretty, too, and I'm the one he married. That said, he's not always thrilled about my fangirling over whatever tv show/actor I'm into that week. Seriously, babe, you don't need to be jealous of…

What she said. Ditto here.

My son used to leave the lid up until he fell in in the middle of the night once. Now he's very careful to put it back down.

I was there for a long time esp after working out. Turns out I was working too hard and eating too little and stressed myself out to the point of screwing up my hormones. Six months off to rest and get nutrition in order and I'm a much nicer human again.

to be totally honest I joined MFP about 12 years ago when in the throes of anorexia to count calories and make sure I stayed well under 900 cal/ day. Somewhere along the line though I discovered lifting and realized that food was fuel and not my enemy. I've had my weight go up and down (three kids and several…

Been a Midwesterner for a decade now but before that I was in Winston - Salem.

At the rehearsal dinner for our wedding my dad turned to my husband and said "congrats on becoming a Packers fan!" My husband hasn't cared about sports since he stopped playing baseball but he married into a Green Bay family

Total opposites. In fact our marriage counselor basically said ' good luck" lol. We compliment each other really well though and I think strengthen each other's weaknesses so it works out most of the time.

We share a farm with my in-laws and select people know to come find us if it happens. We have a garden and animals. But figured that bug out skills would be useful We stay put but stockpiling won't do us any good if we have to leave :) (We do store things that might make good currency though)

We are. Actually saving up to purchase land and make a hidden bunker (by which I mean a dome house we could also camp in  ). We used to stockpile but watched enough Walking Dead that we're now focusing more on bugging out efficiently (surviving with a backpack and skills). We've got a lot to learn but its been a…

I'm loving the cool weather but miss my kids. I wish I had more time with them now that its cool enough to get out and adventure. We spent most of the summer in the basement playing Lego because of the heat. Guess we'll have to make the most of the weekends now.

We're in full swing back to school mode here. Lots of PTA meetings and soccer practice and homework. I'm trying to decide if I can squeeze in a ballet class for myself in there. I'm a terrible dancer but I love it anyway. (Also, smores. Its finally wet enough to have campfires so we must eat all the smores).

We have a store here called Nifty Nut House (they sell bulk candy, nuts and dry fruit) and we joke all the time about the nut house. I used to make lists like your husband all the time. There's even a website called habitrpg where you can reinforce things like brushing your teeth or remembering to eat lunch by getting…

In the short term having kids was hard on our marriage only because we had them very close together and I had bad ppd so life in general was stressful. but now we love family life and I think our kids keep us from falling into a rut we're always looking for fun things to with them that we likely wouldn't have before they…

My husband's dream is to retire to a 13' travel tailer some day. I think going that small permanently would trigger my anxiety but we're definitely checking out tiny house plans.
