I'm…

My weigh in day is usually Monday's too. My current weight as of yesterday is 154.8 I'd like to be 140 lbs by New Year's...I'll post if I remember.

I see two separate but unison things. Losing the weight and getting fit. Losing weight doesn't mean I have to exercise (just consume less calories) Getting fit doesn't mean I have to eat less (just do strength & cardio training) However, I'm sure for a happier body I should do a bit of both. I'm not looking to be a super…

Brokenvegan, I am, I'm a simple one, all home prepped..I don't eat out (not in the last 5 years) ADD me if you like. 21 days on this mfp app. Even if you don't add me, I wish you success however your plan in life.

Clean eating, usually requires no wrappers or packaging. It's in its own package. My hubby is the typical eater/shopper pushing the shopping cart up and down every aisle. When we first enter the store, I just say, "I'll meet you at the produce."

Thanks zkhanman....although I don't log my physical activities when I'm at work (fast food server) I'm sure I burn off a good number of calories each shift. I set realistic goals and keep them in mind.
-
OMG!!! You sound like my food twin!!! Wow so that's what I've been doing for the past 4 months, "clean eating" I never knew the term for it. (Besides vegan) And hey we're both in Canada! West coast here, near Vancouver, BC.

Greetings, fellow vegan. Kinda new with it. (Vegan since January 2015) I was pretty much a vegetarian prior. I'm also a pagan, solitary witch, minimalist and in the 50+ year olds. Though I have been called a youthful spirit. ☺ Add me if you like. I've been active here on MFP for just under 3 weeks. So far I love it! I have…

My motto for the holidays, "This too shall pass."
-
For me I don't celebrate any holidays persay anymore (by choice) but my hubby likes home cooked holiday dinners. I fix him whatever he likes, I eat my stuff and everyone is happy. No rushing around to hang up this or buy that...(in my mind i picture ants, millions of ants seeking that tiny piece of sugary candy somone…

How much fat is proper to consume daily? Are sugars included in the fats? Such as natural sugars in fruits?
-
Got it! Thanks, its kinda what I've been doing.
-
I do!!! Yes balance! Thank you sooooo much!
-
Ah, thank you thank you for the help in semantics! Phew! I flubbed up on that one big time!

The reason why I asked the rock, belly question was---- I see many people posting what they eat in a day, teeny tiny portions!! Omg! A child size in some instances. How can one feel full, if their stomach volume capacity is maybe 1\5 full? Drink more water yes to fill up the void. But still, why not eat things lower in…
-
Yes I know its not about the weight of the food, shoot maybe I used the wrong subject scenerio. Weight in that scenerio would be equal to calorie. Maybe that's what I meant. Weight of rock = calorie
-
Ahhh! Got it! Doh! Silly me.
-
Hypothetically, like if I swallowed one, 1 inch pebble that weighed 1 pound. VS swallowing a foot size boulder that weighed 1 oz. So I could swallow more boulders to get to that 1 pound of daily calorie intake. I know this is a distorted analogy but I'm trying to give you a picture to go by.

Right I didn't. One quick mini question to add: Is there a "better" choice between higher calorie dense foods that have good nutrition (vs) low calorie foods you can eat a lot of that have good nutrition as well? I'm referring to the volume one consumes in their belly to feel "full" Is it better to *not* over fill you…
