  • I'm the exact same! I didn't like eating breakfast at all! It makes me think of eating the entire day, I'm always hungry later, I'm miserable when I try to "balance" my eating with day and night. I eat just fine and properly with all my meals at night. Plus I'm more productive and happier during the day :) Glad to see I'm…
  • Uh...no. You're wrong. I've tried small many meals and big meals throughout the day. I've tried filling foods and veggies and everything. I still overeat and can eat and have eaten just as much at night as I do now. In the end this has worked for me and I'm happy with it.
  • Same problem with me. I tried a LOT and ultimately settled on not eating during the day. I eat no more than like 100 calories in the day, tops 200 on weekends, and then eat my last 1000-1300 at home from 6pm-11:45pm. I love it ☺️❤️ but I know it's not for everyone. It can be hard resisting food for most of the time you're…
  • In the beginning I hated it however after three months I learned how to go to a "happy place" while listening to music. So I was in a zone and then time flies by! :) takes me now about 20 minutes to get into that zone and I can go for at least an hour

  • I used to do stairs for 45 minutes to an hour every other day to every day. It was high intensity, tough, and I lost quite a bit of weight/noticeably more fat. It was great in that regard...however It kills the knees lol! I actually got used to my knees being sore. I woke up in the morning and they hurt when i bent them.…

  • I didn't care how much I ate yesterday lol. I went to the gym for 2 hours just to ensure if I ate the 4000 I expected I would that I wouldn't feel badly. Then when the meal came and I ate and logged it, turned out to be about 1700. Not bad :) I ate at maintanence for the day. Quite pleased. Now for today I want some…
  • I actually decided to log it, for fun, see how much i ate how fat ill get. Welp, my meal came to like, 1700 calories? LOL Really not bad at all. I thought I would honestly hit 3000 for the day. Pretty pleased with myself, I enjoyed that meal immensely! :) Happy thanksgiving everyone!
  • Thank you! I have a goal weight, but I already got into the clothes (which was my main goal not a number). But I worried if I ate at maintanence now if perhaps I would lose being able to fit in the clothes with the 5lbs.
  • I won't. Don't care lol, I'm enjoying myself :)
  • Wow thank you for this! I will try this when I get the chance! I did try to make overnight oats and I LOVE IT! I put 1/2 cup oats with .65 cup of vanilla soy milk and stir. Then I put about 1 tbsp? of peanut butter and stir that in as best I can. I leave it, then hours later heat it up for 1.5 minutes, drop 1/3 cup of…

  • I dont think so. It sounds semi-familiar but I really cant place this.
  • You're right, the elliptical is much more gentle on your body and the knees. :) I think the tredmill might be accurate in terms of calories burned, but in general for myself I learned that the elliptical is about 10-15% over in terms of calories burned. :) Just a food for thought for you OP. And when I work elliptical, i…
  • I was not completely strict and I did end up putting it on pause for some months (I maintained during that time though). But a huge help was I was surrounded by fit people. They, knowingly or not, REALLY motivated me to get in shape/skinnier. And i have, EVERYONE has noticed, and it's a nice feeling. Honestly the best…
  • Well I always literally assumed i'd stay the same weight. I really did, because i never really saw my weight move for like....8? years. Then one day, I stepped on the scale and saw I gained like 28lbs over what I normally weigh. After that i started to do exercises, except I never really had before? So I googled how to…
  • Today I found 'Butternut squash soup with apple' from publix deli, its apparently like 250 calories per 8oz? HECK YES I am very happy :) I enjoyed that soup SO.VERY.MUCH. I will be keeping an eye out for it again. However, I wish I knew if there was a canned version so I can have it when I so want. Time to google! :)
  • I personally think it's up to you. If you don't feel well doing excersising on an empty stomach I don't suggest it. I have done hit and I found I lost far quicker and looked Better than regular cardio. I think online stuff I read said similar but I'm on my phone so don't completely quote me. But as for fasting? IMO I have…
  • Thank you :) Ill try to be more careful or make it more obvious next time. :)
  • oh ok! I thought it was a joke because of the '...' and the very last line of 'dont comment on it'. But I could very well be completely misreading it. I assumed with the post of the picture at the top of the page it got a bit funny in here.
  • Wait is the person you are replying to being serious? I thought they were being sarcastic/humorous, hence my inappropriate response.
  • Im sorry, my jokes are apparently awful. It was supposed to be sarcastic/not actually serious. Ugh I should remember to write /sarcasm next time.
  • THIS. /being sarcastic and forgot to add that in so ugh on me!
  • I've seen negativity before in threads on MFP and online in general but I honestly think this one doesnt have any. Or I havent witnessed any? It seems just happily informative and really positive. :( Perhaps you have this thread confused with another thread or something? No one here seems to be rude or anything at all,…
  • im laughing so hard with this thread. I love you all. But mainly the person who posted the 'glass case of emotion'
  • Hey we're the same lol! Nice to meet you fellow stat-haver :)
  • Im a 5'4 pear shape. I was 177 and a juniors 13, ladies 10 At 160 I was 11/ladies 8 At 148 I can just get into a size 9/ladies 6....also a size 4 dress ;) So I think about 10lbs per weight loss or so? Maybe 15?
  • Thank you :) I think you explained something I have been trying to figure out how to word for some time now! :) I dont think it's helpful to be told 'Are you a child? Can you not control yourself?' That isnt helpful or motivating, it puts me down. I dont know why people cant understand that those comments arent helpful.…
