I think this might be a question for your obstetrician. Good luck!

Are you using the calorie goal from MFP or did your nutritionist give you a calorie goal factoring in your exercise?
-
MFP is designed for you to eat back your exercise calories.
-
So you only ate 1110 calories the whole day?
-
I don't log coffee itself personally, just whatever I put in to it. I only have a couple cups a day at most.
-
To gain five pounds of fat, you would have had to eat 17,500 calories OVER your maintenance. It's likely water retention. Log what you ate and move on. You're human so don't let a few days derail you from all the work you've put in over the last few months.

Personal preference. I also like bigger dinners.

Weight loss isn't linear. Give it a few more weeks and reassess. ETA: And be patient :) you didn't put on weight overnight, so it won't come off overnight.
-
I agree with just including it as part of your daily activity level and seeing how that affects your weight loss. Maybe lightly active?
-
It's the same. Weight loss is about having a calorie deficit over time. In fact, many people here go by a weekly deficit versus just a daily one so they can "bank" calories for special occasions or the weekends.
-
I would start with reading all the topics in the "Helpful Posts" thread at the top of this forum. Good luck!

Yes, increasing your water intake should help, as well as just giving it time.
-
You may have some water retention, so don't read in to the scale readings too much for a few days!

I'm calculating your TDEE to be about 2051 using this calculator: http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/ So even at 1800 you will still lose, just not as much. I hope you had fun at the party! :)

Mmm sounds good! I realized I was out of ice cream, but my awesome husband volunteered to run to the store and grab some. Yay for evening snacks!

For me, I used to work out in college before eating breakfast. One time I almost passed out, so I've always made sure to have at least a little something in my stomach beforehand since. As others have said, it's personal preference.

As someone who works in health care, it really upsets me that an actual MD would recommend this. Please find a new doctor to discuss your weight loss journey with. You don't need someone who pushes unhealthy practices on you. MDs don't receive very much nutrition education, but they should still be smart enough to know how…
-
I find it really hard to believe a doctor with an actual degree would recommend this. If it's true, find a new doctor.

Ice cream! Wine! Ice cream AND wine!

Settings --> diary settings --> diary sharing You are not eating in a deficit if you are not losing weight. We can possibly find out why you are not in a deficit if we can see your diary.

Sorry your doctor did not adequately educate you about your medical condition, but that does not mean it is advisable to stop medications cold turkey. Yes, antipsychotics can cause increased hunger, but at the end of the day, you put on weight because you were eating too many calories. It sounds like you have a lot going…

Please get help as soon as possible. This isn't healthy.

So you stopped taking your synthroid... when a known side effect of hypothyroidism is weight gain... and instead decided to buy "supplements" to aid your weight loss?
-
Doctors don't just prescribe thyroid hormone for the heck of it. As others have mentioned, don't go off prescribed medications unless you get cleared by your doctor. Would you rather be a little nauseous or have an underactive thyroid? Do you take it on an empty stomach?
-
Are you measuring your food with a food scale? It might help if you open your diary.

Four years ago, I was accepted into professional school for a career in health care. I was 200 pounds at the time. What right did I have to talk to patients about their health if I was neglecting my own? I've had a lot of ups and downs since then, but I've learned a lot both on my own and from MFP.

The only supplement I recommend is a multivitamin. When I was in high school, I tried various "weight loss supplements" because my mom was buying them. I didn't start losing weight until I started eating in a calorie deficit.
