Another reason I started carb cycling was because I started running in March, and started doing distances at then start of the summer.loke four or five miles three times a week and found o had no energy. The carb cycling did help with this.

I am really really struggling with hunger the last couple of days. I've eaten 2000 calories today!! Honestly I am just in despair at what is going on now, I did up my cals on Wednesday and have been absolutely ravenous ever since. Trying to focus on protein but cannot stop thinking about cake.

Thank you for the support. I'm finding it very hard to keep perspective on this.....to see his I can get back where I was. I know I'm only carrying five extra pounds and to some people that's not much but I really feel it. And to think I was lighter and eating more...! I've been so hungry lately.

Thnak you for the advice! I'm going to have to get my head in gear, I know I did the wrong thing dropping back to 1200 post Christmas. It was a knee jerk reaction to being very bad! I'm astonished by how my body grabbed the weight thou....just hoping that I can get back to where I was. Thank you. X

Thank you, I've had my first weigh in today since being on the patches and all seems good. Early days I know but I guess I was afraid that I'd magically put on half a stone despite continuing to monitor all I eat and drink! I'm hoping to maintain and stay vigilant. X

Thank you for your responses, it just so happens that I'm feeling totally wiped and very down today. I put my first patch on on Saturday so not had enough time for the drugs to kick in yet! So it's been encouraging for me to hear that it's not all bad on hrt. Thank you. X
