I really rate the app and as long as you are honest with the data you put in, it can be so useful. I don't expect everyone to agree with me but I lost over 110 lbs and kept it off for the past 7 years and I would go as far as saying that without MFP I wouldn't have accomplished what I have.

Congratulations on such an amazing loss. You have done amazingly well.

130 pounds is so impressive. Well done. You must feel so much healthier.

You can do this. Taking it in stages (a stone at a time is very sensible). What you described is pretty much what I did. No fancy diets for me. Just watched what I ate, and eating healthier choices and I walked daily....Good luck on your journey.

You are doing so well 👍🏻

Oh definitely. I just wished I had done this 20 years earlier although I did try many a time. Thank you for your kind comments.

Not sure how I have missed this thread before but it looks pretty perfect for me. I am 56 and have lost over 110lbs. Even though i am in maintenance now, I still track and log every day. Please feel free add me as a friend as long as you are active on here :-) Encouraging each other is so important as we all try to become…

Please add me if you wish. I cannot see how to add you as a friend from the app. I am a 56 yr old male in the UK. I have been in maintenance for 2 years now after losing over 110 lbs but still track daily and keep active. Don’t have to many MFP friends as the ones I had just were not active so I trimmed my list right down.…

I am so glad I read this post. After losing 110lbs I am now getting people say to me how I do not need to lose anymore. While that may be true, I really like the way I look now and so I keep working at it. So there are some weeks where I may still lose. But I think the one thing that bothers me most though is when people…

Absolutely amazing. Congratulations and well done on the hard work. It's so worth it.

I used a Fitbit for a number of years before switching to the Apple Watch just over a year ago. At first, i was not at all happy as the difference between steps, calories burned etc was rather large. I have come to the conclusion that Fitbit was very generous in what it gave back compared the Apple Watch. I haven't changed…

All the very best in your endeavors. You can do it once your really set your mind to it. As someone who started off at 276lbs and with the help of MFP, i have managed to get down to 162lbs and i was always the most undisciplined people you could meet.
-
I'm sorry that's happened to you. Should not happen at all....Don't let that deter you from striving to reach your goal of losing 65+ lbs. All the very best

You can do it. After being overweight all my adult life, and trying all the time to lose weight, eventually with the help of MFP, i have lost 111 pounds. I know its a clique but its true. If i can do it, anyone can. I was the most undisciplined person you could meet.

Hope its still going well. You can do this
-
Please feel free to add me. Been logging daily for over 2 years now

I have lost over 100 pounds over 12 months but on a little more than 1500 calories. More like 18-19000 a day. Like others have said, its a lifestyle change more than a diet. Along with eating better, i moved so much more.

UK here as well. South East. Please feel free to add.
