    Hi all. I'm a born and bred Londoner (of Irish descent) originally hailing from Shepherd's Bush but now living in Sudbury Hill, which is relatively in the sticks and way out there on the non-Heathrow arm of the Piccadilly line. I lost a lot of weight last year using the Scandanavian Diet approach - it's not everyone's cup of tea I know, but it works for me. I put some weight back on which initially was really discouraging. However, I'm back on track now and some of that weight has already gone. This year if I lose 1.4lbs per week I will be at my goal weight by my birthday in October - if I lose 1lb a week I will be at my goal weight by Christmas. I'm gently motivated at the moment with achievable targets and a programme I know works for me. My main challenge just now is finding the energy to be more consistent with exercise - but that's improving too.

    Born and bred Essex boy... until I left 10 years ago. I've only been back once for an 11 day visit. That was enough. Lived in Australia, new Zealand, the west coast of Canada, the middle of Canada, and now the south of Spain.

    I still sometimes make a roast on Sundays though.
