Thank you for all of the good advice. Just responding helps me know that there are people out there who think I'm worth it, and that means a lot to me. I'm hoping that through diet and exercise and losing weight, I will be able to start building my self esteem again. Thanks again.

Zoloft made me gain 30 lbs. I had to switch medicines. Right now I'm trying to lose the weight but it is very slow.

You can do it girl! When just want to eat unhealthy, find something to do that will take your mind off of it.

Just try to keep at it. When you get discouraged, look up motivational quotes on Pinterest or come here for support. You can do this! Hang in there.

Hi, you and I have similar goals! I am doing really good on my diet but awful at working out. How have you done this week?

Are you eating a satisfying dinner? If I don't eat until I'm full at dinner, I always want a snack later.

That is really frustrating. Have you tried happy scale? You weigh yourself every day and they give you an average of your weight. Maybe your weight is shifting daily. Also, are you exercising? Even walking or taking the stairs may help.

I'd like to join. I'm trying to lose weight and calories from alcohol kill me. I am furthering the goal to say that I will only drink water this month. I am craving a Coke badly!

Thanks everyone for the great advice. I have always liked to play tennis but it is expensive. So I have been running which I don't love. I try to force myself to do it because I thought it burns more calories. I'm so glad to hear so many people have gotten into a routine where working out doesn't seem to be a chore anymore.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I couldn't make myself get up in time this morning to run. :( What are some of the work outs you guys enjoy doing? Maybe that is my problem.
