I do really well all day long but the munchies tempt me at night. I have to break myself of the habit. My goal is to lose 75 pounds and it is sure coming off slow.

I plan my meals in advance, and I always plan some calories for snacking.

I look for snacks I enjoy that aren't super high in calories. For example, I like ice cream, so I found an ice cream sandwich that is 160 calories - I can usually fit one in.

We all go off track. What matters is getting back on! You can do this! My problem is going out: I do a good job at home, but out in a social situation I eat more just for lack of anything better. Working on this...

Plan out your meals and include a snack for your total calories for the day.

I have a weekly treat day where I track everything, but eat at my maintenance calorie level (2300). It refreshes me and I've lost 42 lbs so far doing this. I then go back to 1600 for the week. I've been losing 1.5 to 2 lbs each week doing this. I eat my treats everyday, also. I've learned deprivation is not the way to lasting success. Maybe something like this would work for you.

I leave some calories at night to snack with. Nothing wrong with a little popcorn when watching TV. I make sure to log it though, and won't eat candy, as I eat ten, not one!

Are you eating a satisfying dinner? If I don't eat until I'm full at dinner, I always want a snack later.
