Yes, I agree, it is a good thing! I always have a tough time meeting my protein goal and would love to go over!
-
I also like Starbucks occasionally and love that I can get coconut milk as that is how I usually drink my coffee at home.
-
I think Timmies also uses 18% cream as well! I used to be an avid Timmies drinker but I now prefer the McDonald's coffee.
-
Well that makes me feel better!! Here I was thinking I was mis logging by 120 per day and sometimes I have 2 coffees!!!!
-
So then even more complicated on how they get 40 cals since 1tbs 18% is 30 cals. I think I'm best just adding my own since at home I have 5% and so I can just put it in a little Tupperware and add it when I get to work.

Sweet potato roasted. I roast in skin, peel and then mash with some cinammon. Totally hits that sweet spot for me. I also really like PB Banana Milk. 1 cup cashew milk, 1 banana and 1 tbsp powder peanut butter. And then I blitz it. I use frozen banana to make it nice and cold.

They are so amazing! Best investment I have made. I can put chicken in their with nothing but salt and pepper, I usually sear on stove top on one side, then I flip the meat, add in some veggies (carrots, broccoli, whatever) ..maybe some grated garlic and then throw it into the oven to finish cooking. And then it cleans up…

I don't normally cook with oils or fats when I am making meat. I either grill or cook in a non stick rock pan. If I am making a recipe, the fats would be in the recipe when I add it so it is taken into consideration there.

Also just realized I have to pay closer attention to the full nutrition when selecting an item. I logged brocolli the other day and, it said it had 423g of sodium!! I wad mostly just looking at the calories and if they were right, I would log it! I think if I tighten this up, I will be back on track!

Thanks. I don't typically cook with oil or butter (I have the Rock no stick pans) but when I do, I log it. I also do normally log the dressing...the day in question I forgot my dressing at home so, I did eat the salad like that! I do measure but not weigh and, I have decided I need to change that for better accuracy!! I'm…

I don't think mine is doing that. When I logged in to MFP last night before the entry I had a manual adjustment of 752. I logged the cardio of 595 which matched what my Fitbit showed and then the Aquafit of 380 which the Fitbit at this point didn't know about so, to me, the Fitbit adjustment should have only gone down by…

I took my kids on a 5k walk this afternoon and burned 800 calories. I regret nothing. LOL I don't think I "pigged out" based on what I used to do. I did eat lots of cheese, drank a few cocktails and did enjoy a few bites of cheesecake but, all in all, I'm super happy with how the holidays went.

I just had this issue and emailed support and they suggested synching aND then uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app.

I always have a least a few hundred calories left for the end of the day so if the utge strikes I can have a treat. I just make sure I portion it out and put the rest of it away before I start in. I've even got my husband into this habit instead of eating out of the chip bag or whatever. The other week the family was…

I pretty much always stick to a protein and veg. If the choice is 2 sides...then veg and salad with dressing on the side. The other night we went to Casey's and I calculated about 400 calores for my meal. https://www.instagram.com/p/_YAATZpJb7/

I always try to plan it out as well to avoid any pitfalls. My big problem is take out...I know how to make healthier choices but there just aren't any. Greek take out is usually my go to because you can get protein and veg.

Am I the only one that does not find nits or seeds filling at all!! For the calories in a few nuts, I don't find that it keeps me feeling full at all.
-
I'm excited to start with my Fitbit (on my Christmas list) but I was disappointed to find out that it cannot be worn in the pool as I do some aquafit classes and would love to get a.more accurate calorie burn to see how it compares to what I'm logging. :(

I just do minor modifications and they eat what I cook or don't. LoL A few easy subs in our house: Lettuce wraps as an option on taco or fajita night Portabello caps as an option for crust on make your own pizza.night Cauliflower puree in place of mashed potatoes .. my whole family loves this. Spaghetti squash as an option…

There is nothing wrong with making different choices in what you eat to get more "bang" for your buck. If I want to eat a full cup of cauliflower puree for less calories than a half a cup of mashed potatoes, that's my prerogative and, what this thread was created to discuss. If I want to eat 4 cups of popcorn instead of 3…

Is there something about the food I choose to put in my body that bothers you?
-
I use a lot of these subs as well.. My favorite sub is cauliflower puree in place of mashed potatoes. My kids actually like it better as they have never been fans of mashed potatoes. Spaghetti squash vs. spaghetti. In our house we usually have a pasta night at least once per weekly rotation so this way, I just make up some…

When I was pregnant with both of my children at around the 13 - 15 week mark, I craved liver and liverwurst like you would not believe. This is not something that I normally eat but, I was having liverwurst on crackers for breakfast and, liver and onions for dinner a few times during that period.

This and my morning coffee usually keeps me going till lunch but I usually have a small snack under 100 calories ready in case I feel hungry before lunch.
-
My morning smoothy is 300 calories and has spinach (2 cups), yogurt (1/4 cup) protein powder (1 scoop) banana, frozen blueberries (1/4 cup) and almond milk (2 cups).
-
I like the Larabar..it isn't as high I protein as others but it tastes great and fills me up. For the protein powder...I NEVER drink it straight. .. instead I mix it in a smoothy...the best I find after a workout is 1 scoop protein powder (I use Vega), 1 banana, 1tbs any nut butter, spinach and almond milk. The nut butter…

Protein. Nothing makes me do a happy dance more than a nice juicy steak.

I love love love Skinnytaste.Com for good recipes. She takes everyday meals and makes them healthier. I have never made one of her recipes and not liked it.
