I am using a Fitbit charge HR for normal activities and sleep tracking. I have their weight as well. For actual exercise I have a polar watch which also syncs to myfitnesspal. I don't do swimming but here is what I do.. I use a polar v800(*) to measure the exercise, and I then enter the start time, duration and calories from polar into MFP which in turn gets reflected into fitbit. *) http://www.polarv800.com/ - It does swimming metrics too

Ah, it is percentage of calories not grams. That wasn't clear to me the way it is presented. I mean the absolute value that is presented is grams not calories would be nice if it printed both at least thanks for the quick reply
