Snow blower? pshaw. Snow thrower FTW... :D

Try clearing cookies and caches before throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I'm in, again, too. Once I finish out the previous challenge, will post up. :) It will be much less ambitious, though, given this challenge will cover the holiday season and I am trying to be pragmatic about it for a change lol. Already do know, though, the goal is to start the new decade at a maximum of 160 lbs.

My short term memory is sometimes a sieve so pardon if I already posted this. I recently wore jeans. In public. For the first time since 2013 or so. :)

I know have been MIA - past six weeks were more chaotic offline than anticipated would be when joined the challenge :\. Just catching up with data as didn't give up and have still been plugging away at it, seeing if can hit the readjusted goal after August of 165 lbs. or not. Thinking at this point probably not, but ya…

From firsthand experience, do it in a sustainable way so you will not yo-yo in the military, is my #1 advice. Especially if you use tobacco/nicotine and want to quit, quit now versus trying to once you are in as the weight gain that accompanies a quit can be significantly more than what the published papers concerning…

I don't know about the person this was originally asked of, but it took me approximately seven months, March 20th to October 26th. And that was with almost no weight loss in August (1.2 lbs.). Still doing zero intentional exercise. Still losing weight. Happy with my body comp to date. Yeah, I am melty candle in some areas…

You are reading it incorrectly. It's not just about time priority, it is about emotional priority. Some women have zero interest in getting involved in a relationship where she is expected to make a man with children her Number One priority when he tells her, repeatedly even in his dating profile before he ever even meets…

The Atkins I did in 2003 by following DANDR to the letter on the page required calculating and counting the amount of net carbs I ate every day. That is how you found at what custom number of grams/day you lost, maintained, and gained, weight. So a person could figure out how many carbs s/he could eat and stay in one of…

Never thought about how much my clothes weigh, in or out of the doctor's office, ever. In the absence of it being directly related to why you are being seen that day, doctor's only care what you weigh if it puts you in the clinically obese or underweight categories by BMI chart and then only if they happen to be looking at…

Daily. I made it to the other side of the valley, through the storm of it causing compulsion/disorder/dysfunction/etc, and now it's just data for my completely-useless-if-there-is-a-weight-gain-for-more-than-one-or-two-days-in-a-row weight trend app (aka, Libra). I suppose I could mess with the settings and fix that but,…

I recently discovered my nearly four years old scale has started to consistently weight 0.4 lbs. heavier in its pounds mode than in either kilograms or stones modes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Unless you have a professional medical scale that no children are jumping on/abusing because it's in the lobby/hallway and is calibrated at least…

Aye; sternal, primarily. It's not food related for me. Weight loss has made a difference for me as it seems every time I drop below ~190-195 lbs., it resolves. The fatter I get, the worse it gets. I have lived with an undiagnosed probable-immunocompromised issue for at least the past three years for sure, possibly…

No, it really isn't. I once had a clinically obese surgery technician who started losing weight. As our relationship was the result of doing contract work once a week in facility with a 95+% women workforce, I have no doubt it was discussed amongst them all since they worked day in/day out with each other in close…

If I snack, I struggle. If I don't snack, I lose weight at a solid rate. Two good sized meals calorie-wise per day keeps me on track as far as total calories consumed better than two smaller ones + snacks and/or any other meal/snack number combination. That is reality for this human being. As far as history, I grew up with…

An obnoxious amount of raspberries. Fiber added protein shake mixes. Nutrisystem double chocolate muffins. Some like the Fiber One products. My gastrointestinal tract bacteria really don't care for FOs chicory root sourced inulin as a fiber source so I avoid anything containing it now since learning this factoid about…

Hadn't really thought about it, tbh. Realistically, comprehensive blood work/serum chemistry panels even if I have to pay out of pocket for it.

Yeah, I already miss the 'woo' button. However, it won't deter me, lol. Way to spread misinformation as if it were fact. "However, there are some data to support the concept that in certain individuals, sterilization may result in disruption of ovarian blood or nerve supply, producing gynecologic sequelae." As far back as…

Volunteering and community service are both easy ways to be social as an adult. It gives a person a task/project so they aren't standing around awkwardly or trying to make forced chit chat. Plus a person can approach others there as well on ones own timeline/as ones comfort zone expands with familiarity.

A strong philtrum also helps.

As someone who didn't have a weight problem until her late 20s, then did, then didn't, then did again, then didn't again, and now is working on not for the last time, I am calling this out. I have lived it. Enough times now that it wasn't some weird outlier experience or just me being anecdotal. With the same men, even,…

Meal plan, eat leftovers until gone before putting together something new, stick to a grocery list more often than not, only shop for 7-10-14 days max at a time if planning to eat things that can last a week before being used. Condiments get checked and ruthlessly culled 1-2X/year. I eat down pantry, cabinets, and both…
