  • Yay for coconut oil! :) I slept great last night and didn't wake up at all. How long can it take to become adapted? I'm worried that I'm not there yet. Maybe I'm consuming too many carbs.
  • @KnitOrMiss I haven't had any problems with that so far. I sleep really well except for the fact that I have to get up to use the bathroom once or twice a night. SOOO much water lol. But I'm about 5 weeks in and I've noticed a stall in weight loss. I've only lost 4 lbs
  • Try it! It was so weird the first time I tried it that I wasn't sure if I liked it. But then I had it again and I was hooked. Don't forget to add salt to the avocados!
  • @4031isaiah there's a great article on marks daily apple about the "minimum effective dose" of workouts. It's very interesting. It should give you some manageable workouts to start with. Go to marks daily apple .com and search for an article called "the most bang for your workout buck" and then he mentions the 7 minute…
  • I'm like some of the others here, I'll eat dinner for breakfast any day of the week but sometimes I do eat a more typical breakfast. For the past few days I've been eating 4 sausage links that I fry in some ghee. I then fry half an avocado (sliced) in the same pan...and it's got an interesting taste. It tastes like a donut…
  • Awesome, Connie! You're doing great.
  • I totally forgot to mention that I semi-bulletproof my bone broth when I drink it. I add a couple tablespoons of grass fed butter and mix it with my stick blender. A nice way to get some extra fat in and it tastes delicious.
  • Hi everyone! New to keto and new to this community. I went paleo/primal back in 2012 and ended up losing 60 lbs like it was nothing. But then my weight loss stopped and I maintained at that weight for about 2 -3. Enter 2015 and a bad relationship and I gained 20 lbs out of (seemingly) nowhere. Going through the whole…
  • I'm a little late to this post but I recently created bulletproof tea that I drink in the evenings when I need more fat. I found a sweet cinnamon spice tea from Tazo. I brew a cup, remove the bag, then add a couple tablespoons each of grass fed butter and coconut oil. Sometimes I'll also add a shot of heavy whipping cream.…
  • I've made my own (you can google a recipe, or a great resource is www.marksdailyapple.com), but recently I was lazy so I purchased a bunch from Osso Good Bones. I got the chicken, beef, and gut healing broths and they're all amazing. Amazing flavor and of course, grass fed bones and organic ingredients used.
