Thanks guys! No weight loss this week but I'm down another 2 inches! ..that makes 2.5 from my waist! I'm doing cardio 6x a week and weights 3x a week.

I wanna lose 30 by August this year for a wedding I'm standing in. Well, 27 lbs now..

What a great way to look at it! The no weight loss doesn't make sense to me because I used to be an avid soda drinker and I've cut that out and replaced it with water, I've started eating balanced meals from whole foods and I've been doing 30 mins cardio 6x week & weight training 3x week. Lol. But that's all you can do.…

Not looking for pure weight loss. I'm looking to fix my relationship with food and get healthier.
-
It does matter if you eat when you first wake. It breaks up the fasting. Hence, "break" "fast". Definitely need the boost in the morning so I don't get sluggish in the noon and just start making bad food choices. I'm trying to change the way I eat and the way I look at food so this is a good step in that direction.

Nope, not if you don't let it. Get back on track like it never happened. Put it out of your mind and continue on. Took me a little to actually get to that point instead of just saying or hearing it. Look at the grand scheme of things... will this bit of food matter in 2 weeks time if you've continued eating well for those…

I understand that. My intention is to do a full overhaul on my diet. I need it. I want to be healthier not just smaller. While I realize a calorie is a calorie no matter where it comes from, I'd rather if those calories also came with nutrition. I was a big "eat out of a box" person so I absolutely need this overhaul.…

Thanks! I have a trainer so I'm not 100% sure what you would call it. Haha!! It's cardio & strength training all in one.. like circuits for 50 minutes. Doesn't look like much but man does it beat me out! Things that I would have never thought of doing on my own.

yes. a million times yes. i'm supposed to put my life on hold while he is working at his career. i get it, we have 3 kids together and it's hectic but my goals are just as real as his. :(

I'm 2.5 weeks with no soda! I was a horrible, horrible soda drinker. It was the only thing I'd drink now I don't think about it during the day. I am super, super proud of myself for that. My other resolution was that I wanted to reach my goal weight by January of next year. It would boil down to about 5 pounds a month and…

The biggest issue for you right now is that voice in your head telling you, you can't. I've been there and know all about it. I've tried many, many times before to lose weight but I would always get in my own way. Always ended up stopping before I could show any success. My mindset change has been the biggest part of my…

I'm also currently a stay at home mom! Feel free to add me. :)

Don't know much about him because just the way he talks drives me bonkers but I do know I see his name and face on a bunch of crap and I don't really have time to listen to anyone who endorses everything and anything. It's hard to believe someones motive when they're endorsing things left right and center.. seems like he…

I also have a little over 50 lbs left to lose. For me, its been cutting out soda. I'm a little over a week into it and have lost 5 lbs. I used to drink anywhere from 3-6 cans a day, it was actually pretty ridiculous. Now I just drink water or milk when I feel like it but I log everything. I feel like this is a big step for…

I will add you as a friend and we can motivate each other. :) It is overwhelming at times but just remember every little bit the scale goes down it will add up to a larger number in the long run. Will send you a friend request! :)

Thanks for your replies, some sound similar to what I'm feeling. There's no real words for it, it's just a different feeling. Just have to remind myself that every small loss adds up and they eventually add up to be a big number in the long run.
-
Thanks for the insight! I feel hopeful this time around. Congrats on your losses. :)
-
Congratulations, that's great! Your story gives me hope. I have 56 pounds to lose and have started out by cutting out soda.
-
Congratulations! Of course, when you said you were on the today show I had to look the episode up. You look fantastic!

You inspire me so much! Not only because of your weight loss but because of your persistence & the way you just accept your slip ups not letting them defeat you. Congratulations. I hope you have the 2016 that you are looking for. :)
-
You'd have to be blind not to see a difference! You look fantastic. Great work!
-
Oh, it will be fresh fruits juiced. Still sugary but at least they won't be processed. :)
-
That's exactly what I plan on doing - juicing them! Starting with fruit juices and slowly making my way towards veggies a little at a time. Hopefully, I'll be able to do full on veggie juices eventually.
-
I'm the opposite of you - a processed food eater looking to get healthier by eating veggies and less processed foods. I think you would be a great inspiration to me. :) Will send you a friend request.

I have 59(ish) to lose.
