you're right! i tend to focus on the number on the scale, and if that's within my range, i just tell myself that i'm being tricked by little monsters in my head!

i know how you feel, i guess that's why anorexics sometimes see themselves as so fat and sometimes as so thin. it must be that we're paying so much attention to some detail that's less than a mm. if i feel good, i usually feel/look to myself as skinny, but if i feel bad, i feel/look to myself as fat. wierd right?

as long as you're not bingeing, your new weight will be stabilised. good luck on reaching your target!
-
as long as you're not hungry throughout the day, late dinners should be ok!

that's so sad, u should be able to see your family regardless of your weight. as long as you can fit into one aeroplane chair, which i'm sure you can, you should just go for it! aeroplane prices increase every year :)

basically, 1 pound = 3500cal. so if u have a deficit of 800cal for 365 days, u can't lose more than 83 pounds i.e. 37kg. however, as u lose weight your calorie requirements will go down, and you will need to lower your calorie intake to continue losing the same amount of weight as at the beginning. I think you should aim…

think about the way your metabolism's working, u need the most fuel during the day while ur working. most people have a really big dinner (to enjoy the movie they're watching, I guess). However, i prefer to have a big lunch cos then i'm not starving throughout the day, whereas after dinner I'm just doing light work and…

wow! kudos to you! i have a really pronounced collarbone and cheeckbones as well, so yeah, people jump to the wrong conclusion! ur hair looks great - why did you cover it up before?

Solution!! When u click on 'Food', then the 'Recipes' tab, at the bottom of the page is a 'Enter New Recipe' button. You add the ingredients and everything there, and on the page it says 'Would you like to submit this recipe to the MyFitnessPal recipe database?' and there u have it! keep me updated if it worked out

i agree. motivation is so important when u feel like reaching for cheese...

i have insulin resistance and that makes weight maintanance a bit hard as I often have sugar lows. how are you coping? any tips, energy boosting recipes?

it's on the limit. my endo thinks it's fine, i have a narrow body shape, esp. wrists and that. the weight doesn't seem low on my body figure visually.

omg! I saw your profile and I can't believe it, I SWEAR you look more like 23 than 43 years old. you look so beautiful, regardless of the extra weight. good luck!!
-
Good luck!! I had lost the same amount of weight but had gained back a bit. Regardless, you look beautiful in the photo :)

I was at a check-up with my endo (cos I have pcos), and there was an intern doctor there and she's like that I need to gain weight because the medication i'm taking is not for people with that bmi (lol). and then my endo's like 'why are u trying to make her gain weight?' lol

I'm 180cm and planning on being around 60 ish kg. That was my approximate weight before I had gained weight over several years.

surround yourself with friends who have the motivation that you are lacking. and when you're feeling low if u talk to others about it (physical friends can be more effective than virtual), that'll help you get on track. nothing beats a real warm hug!

Hey Cana, I'll give u great advice that worked for me, eat what you like buy tell yourself ONLY ONE NORMAL SERVING  and take your time eating it, as much as it would take if u were eating the serving you'd eat before. this kind of fools your brain into believing that u actuallly ate a large serving, and your stomach…

depends if you're aiming at healthy or skinny, that determines how much fast food u allow yourself. but regardless, treating yourself on the weekend should be fine

Hi Jacki! MFP's great cos it really keeps u accountable, sometimes snacking in between meals is the worst thing that can happen to me!
