Although I’m 10years older, I can see a lot of similarities. After a year from hell last year I gianed almost all of my weight as well as loosing almost all of my fitness. I’m up to 210lbs and It’s a very daunting task. Getting my fitness back is almost as important as loosing weight for me. I’m a triathlete and it’s not…

I’m a triathlete but definitely not a vegetarian, does that count😃

What great posts, I've been thinking I'll never run any faster. I started 2years ago at 17minute miles and I'm now down to 12m/miles for 3miles. I was beginning to think that was it for speed for me but reading everyones post has now made me feel as if I will get faster with time and less weight. The best thing for me is I…

Drink lots of water, I also found when I reduced the amount of soda I drank (2liters to 1, 330ml can per day). Not only was my skin a lot clearer but my hair also became softer and shinier.

I wash my hair almost everyday, it's fine and it gets greasy very quickly. I swim up to 4 times a week so I have no choice but to wash it, to get rid of the chlorine. Dry shampoo makes my head itch. I've used Aussie shampoo and conditioner for about 12years and I have no problems. I usually let it dry naturally and I've…

Forget to say, I also get calories allocated to my exercise.

I have a ninja (950watts)

Is anyone's garmin connect working yet, It's registered my activities but not my steps.
-
Not sure if they work in the same way but I have a garmin forerunner25, I use a HRM and only log exercise on garmin connect that way the garmin is in control of the calories burned and can adjust accordingly. I usually get somewhere between 50 and -50 adjustment.

Think the scales in Boots are very probably very misused, I would invest in a new set of scales. I got a cheap colour match ones from argos only £12.99. I've had them a couple of years and they are still accurate

5'3.5 44years old 1310+exercise calories. steadily loosing 1lb per week.
-
The only time I've ever burned 1000 calories in an hour using a HRM was when I did a duathlon.
-
I loose weight off my feet first then my face, neck and boobs, everything is now slowly reducing but the places I have most fat (thighs and bum) will probably be last.
-
The only thing I use my BMI for is to set myself smaller goals. I've got 5lb to loose and then I'm only overweight and no longer obese.

Just remembered a story about my daughter, we lived in New Jersey for 3 year (2001-2004) we're from the UK, she was in kinder garden and as she got off the bus she picked something up and said loudly "look mammy I've found a rubber" Poor driver, her face was a picture. Also got asked one parents evening what an oblong was.

Salad cream is not mayonnaise. As far as I know there is no equivalent. I don't think it's available in any other country other than the UK.

I was told on here that I should only loose up to 1% in lbs of my body weight per week. I'm 180lbs so I can safely loose up to 1.8lb per week
