I've never gotten to 2 lbs a week even maintaining a deficit that *should* put me there. I'm averaging 5 lbs a month which seems REALLY slooooowww but it's steady and I'm toning up with spinning and weights. I'm not sure 2 lbs a week is possible for everyone. Keep at it!

@Maggieq87 you look great! That must feel so good.

Tracking my calories religiously AND exercising nearly every day. I have to do both - one or the other wasn't doing it.

I'm up and down this week but hovering around 194 still. Sore today from spinning and always a few lbs heavy when I'm sore. I might be a bit stuck - only 2 lbs in a month - BUT I'm down an inch in hip and waist so it's working! My body might be wondering what all this exercise and good food is about...

It's weigh in day for me. I have just a few days to the final and I'm still 3 lbs away but this challenge definitely got me going! I learned some things and adjusted my expectations. I get discouraged at a .5 lb loss but then I look back and realize that I average just about 1.5 lbs a week. My whining brain says, "That's…

Today is weigh in day for me. It's been a loooong couple of weeks with only 1/2 lb losses but I'm happy to be moving in the right direction. I want to share my struggle this week in case any of you are experiencing this. I upped my workout intensity last weekend and was sore for several days this week. I went up 4 lbs in a…

I went up for the first time since starting to log and exercise a month ago and it hasn't come off in 4 or 5 days. It is SO frustrating! I don't expect a straight line down, but... Well, maybe I do... Normally I weigh in on Fridays but I can't help jumping on the scale every day.

Hi, I'm Lucy. I look forward to getting my mojo back and to feeling good about leaving the house instead of always wanting to hide! I think 20 by June is a great goal. I have 42 lbs to go to reach my goal of 155 and hope to do so by the end of September.

I slacked this week so am very happy to see a loss. A lot of social eating and very little exercise is not a good recipe for success! 1/24 - 203.5 1/29 - 201 2/05 - 199.5 2/12 - 198 2/19 - 197 2/26 - 2/29 - Challenge goal 193.5 Goal weight 165 (okay, maybe 155, we'll see...)

This is great. I never thought to take a face shot. I'm only down 8 lbs but I cannot WAIT to get my face back! All of your successes are inspiring.

Slow and steady wins the race, right? What happened to the water weight falling right off? Those days are gone! Like my 20s!! 1/24 - 203.5 1/29 - 201 2/05 - 199.5 2/12 - 198 2/19 - 2/26 - 2/29 - Challenge goal 193.5 Goal weight 165 (okay, maybe 155, we'll see...)

You can try Leslie Sansone walk at home videos. I found them on youtube. They'll get you moving and she incorporates some light strength training. They're various lengths starting with a 15 minute power walk.
