  • I'm 5'2", 125 lbs, lightly active (playing with my toddlers and 10k steps a day), and eat around 1,400-800 (depending on how active I am that day) to lose weight. Anything lower and I will binge.
  • are you measuring you food?
  • 5'2'' and I am losing steadily on 1500 calories. I started at 127 (9 st. 1lb), I'm now at 125 (8 st 13lb) and all I do is make sure I get 10k steps.
  • I have a Fitbit Versa and I love it (I've had multiple Fitbit's). I am not an Apple user, so I can't compare, and I also do not need a traditional smart watch. The steps, hr, and active minutes are accurate for me, but the calorie burn does overestimate. I also like that I only need to charge it every 3 or 4 nights, unlike…
  • Hi there! Mama of 2 and I work full time. Salads are my go to quick meals. I make sure on the weekends that I have vegetables/proteins (tuna and chicken) prepped for the week.
  • I have this weight gurus scale and I really like the app it connects to. https://www.target.com/p/appsync-smart-scale-with-body-composition-silver-weight-gurus/-/A-46790468
  • I can't wait until someone does this to me. I will stare them straight in the eyes and ask for sources.
  • What do you want out of the smart watch? I bought a Fitbit after I had my first child to lose the weight and it motivated me, so I've upgraded multiple times and have just bought the Fitbit Versa. So far, I like it. It's comfortable, accurate in steps, and pretty (although both are). As others pointed out, I'm into the…
  • Sizing is subjective. Here is a pic I took yesterday to show it.
  • I feel you! My 2nd child is now 20 weeks old. I had the same amount to lose as you and I'm JUST now reaching the goal. I lost about 5 lbs a month. But it was all down to tracking my food. I did not cut out foods, I just had smaller portions to satisfy my cravings. Good luck! If you want support feel free to add me.
  • I use a weight guru scale, so I try to weigh every morning. It shows graphs and averages. For example, in January I averaged 126.9 lbs and in February I'm averaging 124. I really suggest using any app with weight graphs and averages! If anyone is interested in a new scale, I recommend the weight gurus bluetooth scale. It…
  • Congrats on your baby! It can be hard to find that healthy routine after a baby, good luck on your journey
  • I wear a size 4/6 now and I have a vintage pair of high waisted shorts that are size 12. My favorite jeans are a size 26 waist even though my waist is 28. So I agree with the first comment, it's all about what store/brand you are buying. Vanity sizing is horrible.
  • I think peoples answers will be different based on how they classify "naturally thin." When I hear this phrase I think of people who have high metabolisms. Two people could be the same height/sex/activity level and think about food the same. They may equally enjoy food and eat the same meals, but one could end up larger…
  • Height: 5'2, Age: 24 First Child pre-pregnancy weight: 127 Second Child pre-pregnancy weight: 117 Pregnancy weight: 155 2 days pp: 148 10 days pp: 137 Current weight (16 week pp): 127 My goal is to fit back into my clothes comfortably.
  • Hi there! I exclusively FF both my children. I've had a harder time losing the weight this time around. With my first, I lost my 35 lbs of baby weight in 4 months. I bought a food scale and a Fitbit and weighed all my food and walked 15,000 steps a day. My 2nd is 16 weeks old and I have 10 lbs to lose still. Honestly, bc…
  • I love my bluetooth weight gurus scale.
  • Mama to a 25 month old and a 3 month old (October baby). Looking to lose my last 10 lbs of baby weight. I'll add you :)
  • This. I'll log what I estimate it to be (since I've been weighing for a couple years and feel comfortable doing this), but I won't weigh leafy greens or low calorie vegetables.
  • I think there are 2 main questions to help with your conundrum. First, how are you measuring your food? Are you using a food scale? The only way to accurately log food is by weight. If you are using volume (cups/ tbs, etc) you are probably eating more than you think. Second, on days you work out, how are you calculating…
  • I lose my phone every time I put it down. I literally can not remember where I put it. My husband get's so frustrated.
  • I can button my pre-baby clothes! Still a tab tight, but it's getting there :)
  • I'm 5'2'', 127 lbs at the moment and I'm a size 6. When I'm at my smallest of 117 lbs (my goal to fit back into my clothes -- just had a baby in October) I'm a size 2-4. However, I have a vintage pair of shorts that are a size 12 that fit perfectly at my smallest. Sizes are all over the place with each brand it's crazy!
  • My first DietBet ends today and I lost the weight needed. My second DietBet starts today. I hate to waste money, so it's super motivating to me. I think it only works for people if you are already dedicated to losing weight.
  • My son is 2 months old tomorrow XD and I started my fitness journey 4 weeks ago with a DietBet and have lost 5 lbs. 10 (5 kgs) more to go! I bought myself another Fitbit to help motivate me to get moving which definetly helps. Once I loose the baby weight I plan on focus on toning bc I need it lol
  • The only time I see weight loss is when I measure all my food on a food scale. It's a great investment!
  • From my understanding choosing sedentary on MFP gives you a set amount of calories as if you sat all day. If you track your activity using MFP or Fitbit it will give you exercise calories that you can also consume. So those 4,916 steps gave you an extra 105 calories to consume.
  • I have a 7 week old. I just started to diet/exercise and have 15 lbs to go. I don't have much time for myself to exercise with a 2 yr old, 7 week old, and (soon to be going back to) full time desk job, so I focus heavily on diet. I lost all the baby weight with my first by logging my food and just walking (got a Fitbit and…
  • LOVE my fitbit! Would love to challenge some, add me as a friend and we can add eachother on fitbit!
  • Me me me. I had baby #2 on October 8, gained 40 lbs and ended at 157 lbs. I am now 132 lbs and want to lose 10 more lbs. I am planning on motivating myself with a new fitbit again (its how I lost all the baby weight with #1). We are formula feeding, so I don't have to worry about losijg any supply. I gained 35 lbs with my…
