  • This was exactly my thought...but it continued to pop up in so many low carb recipes, lol!! Thank you for the links @Dragonwolf !! I will check them out
  • I love the Ultimate Keto roll, too, because you can shape the dough...I have done round for burgers and square for sandwiches. The only suggestion I have, is to go with boiling water; you will get a much better rise from them
  • Awesome!! Thank you!!!! Anything has to be better, lol!! I love the ones with Tapioca flour, but for 30 net carbs per wrap, not sure I need that right now, lol!!
  • Really glad I found this thread!! I was logging on another low carb site, and not losing a thing....everyone kept telling me I wasn't eating enough...and I was eating 1600 calories!! I came here and thankfully found this group, and I am keeping my carbs low and working on shrinking my calories  Feeling great about…
  • Haha, I just purchased two Rodney Yee dvds. I used to love Yoga and Pilates, but it has been so long since I did them! I think you have inspired me to give it a try...again!! Have you seen the video of the man who followed Diamond Dave? Makes me cry every time I see it! Very moving and inspirational!!!!
  • I love them for a quick and easy roll! I do wish they would hold up a bit better, but still....not bad at all! If you want something a little more sturdy, here is another great recipe with 4 net carbs/roll: http://ketodietapp.com/Blog/post/2014/11/12/Ultimate-Keto-Buns
  • Low Carb Pancakes, Egg..over easy ;) and bacon....3 net carbs!!
  • I make a single serve fat bomb and put it into 9 little candy molds...I grab a piece whenever I want something sweet. It has saved me often!! 1 TBSP Cocoa 100% 1 TBSP Natural Nut Butter 1 TBSP Coconut Oil 1 TBSP Grass Fed Butter Melt it together and freeze for 15-20 minutes. Sweeten to taste...sometimes I also add in a bit…
  • Thanks for all the ideas!!!!!! So far fruit is the one thing I miss most....lol.
  • Yes!! I have noticed this about "old style" cooking...remember when food was real?
  • That I can do, thank you!
  • Another question....should I focus on calorie intake, or just carbs/fats/protein and just eat until I am satisfied (within reason, of course)?
  • Thank you all so much for your input! I feel better just reading it!! I know this is where I want to go...and as I watched my husband munch some donut holes this morning, I knew I totally did not want to go there........again, lol!! One thing I think that tripped me up was trying to do it strictly someone else's way, and…
  • Essentially, yes. I started in March of 2015....went Low Carb in August 2015....fell of all health wagons in November 2015, and over the winter gained most of it back...then in April 2016 I started paying attention again.
  • It all depends. Check out the Atkins site...for phase one (Induction) you only eat 20-25 carbs a day, and most of that comes from "approved" veggies.
