What are your lifts at? I've been doing SL for 4 months and have nearly doubled my previous PBs

It doesn't seem like a big deal, but the heart rate option is huge. I feel my charge HR is way more accurate than the standard model. Do yourself a favor and don't skimp on the HR

I just got back from vacation (Colorado), I ate what looked tasty, drank tons of water and I actually lost weight. Sometimes the shake up in routines can trigger a positive response. I will say we did lots of walking and climbing, however, for me I'm very active anyway so I don't think that had much to do with loss. I set…

Genetics play a large role, however, there are plenty of studies that show a correlation between large amounts of treadmill exercise and a decrease in glute/hamstring size and strength. The explanation seems that your hamstrings and glutes are responsible for the backward movement of your leg and since the treadmill does…

Pbfit is fantastic. I make mine with chocolate almond milk and cinnamon. It's yummy. 2tbsp is 50 calories (with water).

I do cardio and accessory training on the rest days. Once the weight gets "heavy" I'll be sticking to the 3x per week.

All the runners I know wear brooks. I bought a pair of adrenaline 16, they are easily the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn they also come in 4e sizes. All the Nikes I've had were poor quality in comparison to brooks. They also don't fit well and durability isn't up to other performance brands. Looking at shoes as a…

I have chipotle fairly often. Lots of lifters take a burrito bowl and add it to some sort of mixed salad for volume. As others have mentioned get the nutrition info from their website and leave a little wiggle room since their portions will definitely vary. My personal suggestion is skip the sour cream and cheese and use…

I was like you (for 32 years), then I got serious and realized "healthy" just can't be achieved without vegetables. At least not efficiently. Veggies help with many vitamins, and they're also great for adding volume to meals without adding heavily to calories consumed. My recommendation is try to be flexible, I started…

The issue I have with Google fit is when manually adding weightlifting activities the app will remove time from walking and it seems to double the calories burned during weightlifting. For example, if I start my lift routine with 30 mins of walking prior, when I add my lifts to the app all the walking I've done while…

I'm down 70+ lbs since January. My weight mostly follows a two week cycle. First week is nominal loss (1 lb), the following week shows 3-4. I understand this to be called stall and whoosh. Evidently the fat cells are depleted of triglycerides and then filled with water. Once the body realizes the cell won't "refill" it…

My favorite thing to do is mix a whey protein (chocolate flavor), with vanilla Greek yogurt, frozen strawberries, half banana, pbfit powder, and some almond milk. And of course ice. It's pretty tasty, I usual feel energized afterwards so I use this as a breakfast substitute or a preworkout.

Hit my 249 today too. That makes 71 lbs total since January.

I have lost 54 lbs since January 18th. SW 320 CW 266 GW 185 I've made a huge change to my diet and exercise 7 days per week. I do 45 mins on treadmill (HR at 65%-75$) Strength training with active rest, usually a compound movement with a plyometric exercise. Then another 20 mins of normal speed walking.

Veggie straws, in the cheddar flavor. That's my fave.
