I like to be munching on something while I'm watching a show, doing work or just when I get bored.

I usually just eat rice cakes or suck on some coffee candy.

What's your guys' go to low calorie high volume snack?

A few hundred grams of cucumber (like two cucumbers) with nutritional yeast and chipotle sauce, or salsa. Air popped popcorn, protein fluff

I've found it really helps to actually stop snacking when doing something else. That way it's not mindless eating, and when I hit maintenance I won't go back to snacking on too much high calorie foods.

On my way back from the grocery store I opened a bag of sugar snap peas and at almost half the bag... Love those things.

heh. I consider those one of the higher calorie vegetables you can munch on. I remember weighing some out and thinking...hmmm. They are good though.

It is, and the nutritional yeast makes it cheesy. A serving of the yeast has 9g of protein too. Not bad for 60 calories.

Vegetables (cucumbers, cauliflower and raw broccoli, and if I want a bit more taste or texture I dip it in salsa). Or air popped popcorn.

By category, raw or cooked veggies are best. Fresh fruit is 2nd but if you're carb sensitive count calories. But isn't the mindless munching what got me her in the first place? That might be another question to ask

What?! Mine only has 7 grams of protein in a 60 Cal serving! I'm mad now!

heh. I have the Bob's Red Mill. The Red Star brand says a serving is 70 calories so I dunno.

    My favorites:
Fruit - cantaloupe, honey dew melon, watermelon, strawberries
Veggie - cucumber, broccoli, green beans
Crunchy/Salty (more calories) - pretzels, snapea crisps
Sweet/fat - dark chocolate chips. I just let them melt in my mouth. 100-150 calories is enough.
