Thanks. I was losing weight. I just put my weight in and that I wanted to lose a pound a week and it came up with 1400. I haven't a clue what my maintenance is and I also haven't changed it now that I've lost weight. I'll check that. Thanks!

Yes! I weigh everything. My calorie count is 1400 and most days I'm 50-100 under.

I've lost 5 pounds so far just by sticking to my calorie goal. I've lost one pound a week and it is so rewarding! My niece said "that's too slow" but in my mind the time is going to pass any way so I can stay over my dream weight or I can chip away at it. I'm at 1400 a day and am working at losing 1pound a week. So far so good, but I am left feeling hungry (not just cravings) quite often.

Interesting that you say this. I guess I'm a volume eater because the eggs and bacon do not make me feel any fuller than the Cheerios.

Smaller servings of what I used to eat Breakfast- Cheerios or 2 eggs and bacon Lunch- salads, sandwich, or left overs Dinner- a small serving of whatever we make I'm mostly starving before lunch and still hungry after lunch.

Thanks everyone! I really like shakes and don't mind skipping a meal to have one because they're so tastey! I know they may not be the best but for now if I'm gonna use them I just want the best "bang for my buck" as far as nutrition and money, so thanks for your input!
