  • i actually weigh in weekly to keep better on track but my monthly weight is what I try to look at for seeing progress ♥
  • 1.61 with the dog this morning
  • As it starts to get nicer and warmer out what are good recommendations for carrying water? I don't want to just carry a bottle in my hand as I finally got an armband to hold my lifeproof case phone so I could get that out of my hand -don't really want to replace it with a water bottle. Suggestions... Also...what does PR &…
  • Grrr....I can't get the ticker to pull up for me to add to it. I went out and ran 3.09 this morning which was more then I had planned. It gave me time to be frustrated and use as a release for my emotions -who knew running could be so beneficial for that. So that being said I've done 18.85 miles which is 6.85 miles more…
  • No running today, too much going on and I didn't get sleep last night to have the energy today.
  • Today was an off day as I ran this afternoon when I always run first thing in the morning because I have this weird fear of people seeing me and judging how slow I am  very self conscious. Anyway, I just went out and ran a trail and got 2.59 miles. ♥ 03/22 -2.59 03/20 -2.38 03/18 -2.15 03/14 -1.65 03/12 -2.20…
  • I decided to make the best of my time when my daughter had gymnastics today and went for a 2.38mi run followed by a mile walk because I had an hour to kill. I started at the bottom of a hill though and that was hard. I usually do flatter roads but I went from where I was at and that was it. I'm excited that I accomplished…
  • Finished my morning run -a little rain, a little snow, a deer, a skunk, and 2.15 miles later I'm back home. Used my new wireless earphones and loved them. Thanks again for telling me about them @9voice9, I got them yesterday and they are perfect!!!! Even told my friend about em' and she ordered a pair as well.…

  • Hi! I'm a mom of 5 (toddler-college) and am a military wife as well. I have to admit, not a Potter fan but if you can look past that life killer  I've been there and done that with the weight gain and loss with babies. This last time I was at a great weight and hubby came home from his first deployment and wanted one…
  • good job!
  • My goal is to lose weight, eat healthier and cook healthier. I have an appointment with AWC to do metabolic testing and Bod Pod for finding out where I'm at for a starting point and then wanting to meet with a nutritionist to get my eating goals all figured out. I would really like to be in a much better place (health &…
  • Oh my goodness, that story got to me but the video made me cry....♥ what a great story!
  • No early run this morning, instead I decided to make my early bus catching kiddo breakfast and sit at the table and enjoy some quiet just mommy/daughter time before all the others woke up and started their days. I haven't done that in a long time and it was so nice. My legs are a bit sore anyway from leg day yesterday so I…
  • I agree with the above...make sure your shoes are good. That is what always makes my shins start hurting. I just got a new pair of shoes and haven't had any issues at all.
  • I also agree with the Walk Away the Pounds by Leslie Sansone. You can find them on youTube also if you want to check them out. She has many different levels and it is what I started with as well a long time ago. Slow and steady wins the race, don't do too much and hurt yourself or frustrate yourself. :)
  • where ever the Army sends us ;) currently that would be NY
  • I started weight lifting and still going strong with it!
  • @makingmark -Completely off topic but I sure do miss home (EC) even though I'd never want to live there again. And I agree with lentils...they can be made so many ways and are so super yummy! I didn't even know I liked them until about 2 months ago when someone brought a lentil soup to church.
  • Hi  I'm also looking to lose baby weight, however my baby is 3 now  I have about 35 pounds left that I want to lose and I've got a great start so far.
  • Thats awesome! Great job! Is your hubby military? I ask because I know some civilians who use the word deploy for civi jobs too.
  • Went out and added another 1.65 miles this morning in the rain...really frustrated though with the mapmyrun app. It has gone crazy 2 days in a row when I've tried to use it. Congrats on those who did runs over the weekend...it makes me want to do so much more and never give up! I felt so slow setting my goal at…
  • So today my plan was 0 miles but I woke up this morning and decided at the last minute I was going to go do the Shamrock run. My first ever 'official run' and I'm so excited and proud of myself. I went alone, and ran alone, but I've never felt so good and accomplished as I do now. There was an older woman who came up to me…
  • Only 1.16mi today but it is better then the 0 that I thought of doing
  • I like these! They aren't in the ear which I struggle with those ones falling out, and they aren't big over the head headphones and best of all...they aren't $100+!!! Thank you !!!
  • Any good suggestions on wireless earphones. I'm wanting to switch but trying to decide between wireless in ear or headphone type...thoughts??
  • I always feel like I'm a runner and feel so good....until someone else wants to 'run' with me and then I realize I'm lucky if they consider me a jogger cause I'm ssssslllllooooowwwww. I especially dislike running with my husband even though he has learned to become patient with my pace but he is taller than me so his…
  • Okay, sorry for posting a third time, I'm trying to see if I'm doing this right for adding a ticker
