This has been great to read because I have been using this app for a while now and really only paid attention to the calories. I never really took the sodium/carb/sugar/protein "warnings" and goals into count.

I'm with ya! Fast food makes me feel gross on the inside and insecure on the outside. I don't know if quitting cold turkey will always work 100% of the time (because I truly believe food is an addiction). But Ido believe that if you stick with it, it's definitely worth it and you will feel better/see results.

Not to sound materialistic, but buy them something they may have mentioned wanting before but wouldn't buy for themselves. It shows they are worth it and that you paid attention to things they say.

It is so hard just to get off my butt. I love the idea of having something I need to do every 30 minutes. I'm imagining myself doing squats or lunges with stretches, or even jumping jacks. I gotta get my blood pumping.

I like to eat a few slices of turkey lunch meat (I dip it in Buffalo sauce, my fav). And if I trust myself, I grab a handful of what I'm craving and walk away. Eat it SLOWLY! Then move on.

This may be a dumb question, but if you used your scale for 3/4cups and it weighed as 1/2cups, that means you could have another 1/4cup? This isn't about the math, it's about understanding the scale. Am I right?

I can eat the "healthiest" meal (salad, vegetable soup, whatever is your vision of healthy), but I'm not doing myself any favors if I eat until my stomach hurts.
