  • Until Monday I was averaging 15-18 bottles a day. I decided that I'd help the environment and bought a water purifier and now carry around a milk jug. I've been averaging about 2 gallons per day since Monday. I feel like this is will be pretty regular for me. Yes I pee all day lol.
  • I spend maybe 5-10 minutes a day on cooking dinner for my wife and I. We both work and we utilize the crockpot for our evening dinner nearly every night. We had ribs on Mon, Pasta on Tue, Chilli will be tonight, tomorrow I plan to cook a whole in chicken, and Friday we will have pot roast.
  • My wife seems to think so.
  • Also check this out. http://www.groceryheadquarters.com/2014/03/Smartfood-Delight-Popcorn-Offers-35-Calorie-Snack/ I eat this pretty often as a snack. 35 calories per cup means you can eat a pretty good amount.
  • Get rid of the white bread and buy some potato bread. 2 pieces of it is 70 calories. That alone would free up enough calories that you could add another 6 ounces of chicken and still be at the same calories.
  • My official weigh in day is the 18th when I'm at my dr apt. I do weigh in daily at home but don't count any weight loss until I see it my drs scale.
  • In Feb I decided I'd like to have the gastric bypass. I went to a seminar and found out that it required 6 months of dieting w/a Dr watching over you the entire time. I went to my dr and he told me that if I didn't make a real effort he wouldn't submit the documents required for the surgery. So for the last six months I've…
  • This is the sad truth. I started at 418#s... I was getting 1k-1200 calories burned per hour on the treadmill. This was at a 15 incline and 2mph. I injured my leg when I slipped and fell a few months back at work so I'm unable to do such an incline now. I did check the other day though and if I did the same workout I'd be…
  • For someone of a smaller size walking may not burn that many calories. At my highest size I'd average 1k+ calories a day on the treadmill. I believe at my current weight I'd still be averaging 750+ if I could do what I've been able to do in the past. That's over 1/3 of my daily intake of calories. Even with a sore leg I…
  • Sunday I attended a party and had a ton of food that I wouldn't regularly eat. I gained 11lbs over night. I've lost 8.5 of those lbs so far in 4 days. It takes a while to get rid of all that salt. Just don't worry about it and keep moving forward.
  • I give in to my temptations on a regular basis. The trick is moderation. I eat anything that I feel like. I regularly have Chinese and had pizza earlier this week. I'm down 85 pounds.. So I must be doing something right.
  • I started at 418lbs and am now at 333lbs 5.5 month later. I cant imagine the work you've done to drop double that! Congrats on that.
  • I took 37.5 phentermines for 3 months. I lost 40lbs. I started having terrible mood swings and decided that I'd like to stay married so I stopped taking them. I've since lost another 41lbs. I used it to jump start my loss and took the time while on it to teach myself the correct way to eat. Does it happen this way often?…
  • I started with a goal of losing 218lbs in February. I've since lost 81lbs. Feel free to add me.
  • I just got back from a 4 day vacation. I spent the 4 days eating crap that I don't normally eat. I actually doubled my normal calorie intake(usually eat 2k daily, was hitting 3-4k each day). Ya know what I did today? I got back on it eating my normal 2k. A few binge days won't kill you if you get right back on it.
  • Personally I'd look for something to compare this to. I personally used hardees the other day for the same comparison. Hardee's - Beer Battered Onion Rings Calories 410
  • I started at a tight size 50 in mens in Feb. Now in since 46! Still have a ways to go .
  • I've lost 70lbs since Feb. I eat what ever I feel like eating... Within reason. I eat Chinese on a pretty regular basis. That's my biggest, and worst, addiction. I have still managed to lose. I just turn what they call a meal into 3-4 small meals.
  • I personally eat all day. It usually is something like this: Snack 100 Snack 100 Meal 300 Snack 100 Meal 400 Snack 100 Snack 100 Meal 800 2000 total calories is what I aim for. I try to prepare everything in the morning and have it all set aside ready to be eaten so I'm not digging through fridge.
  • Look up Kays naturals. They make some awesome low calorie protein chips, cookies, and pretzels(the pretzels suck imo). Coming in around 125 calories with 12 grams of protein make them a great snack!
  • General Tso chicken is my addiction! I started this journey in Feb and still haven't managed to kick the habit. I have found a healthyER alternative. Order steamed chicken and broccoli and a side of general tso sauce. Yum!
  • I started at 418lbs. Under my Dietitian and drs guidelines I started at 2k calories a day as my max. I see both monthly. It's been 4 months. I'm now eating 1800 calories daily, regardless of my calories burned. I average around 600-800 calories burned 3-4 times a week that I don't eat back. This is time spent a the gym,…
  • Try avacados! High in good fats and high in calories. You can add it to sandwhiches, salads, nearly anything! I like to put some in a ziplock bag and add a little Sriracha with some garlic and onion powder. Easy to mix together and no mess! Just tear the corner off and apply where ever. This is great to use as a dip for…
  • I weight and measure everything that I eat unless I'm eating outside of my home which is usually 2-3 meals a week . I actually use two different scales to ensure that my weights are correct(I had a junk one to begin with that wasn't weighing things correctly). I also weigh all of my meat before cooking.
  • Also I drink 12-14 bottles of water daily. That's the only thing I drink. I haven't drank pop in years.
  • Maintenance 3655 CALORIES/DAY Fat Loss 2924 CALORIES/DAY Extreme Fat Loss 2896 CALORIES/DAY When I look up a calorie calculator to figure my daily needs this is what it tells me.
  • I was told that eating through out the day was better than eating 3 times a day.. That it would keep my metabolism going throughout the day. I'm still eating 3 meals a day, I'm just eating small meals for breakfast and lunch and having snacks inbetween. I think that being a big guy also has something to do with this. When…
  • I was sick for about 6 days. I then went been back to my normal eating habits for the next week however I never lost a single lb. I actually gained 1lb. Although my calorie intake was average for me(1800-2200 daily) I consumed a massive amount of salt(2 cans of soup or broth, crackers, and gatorade) everyday while sick. 8…
  • Mix some salsa in with your cottage cheese. Be sure to cut up some veggies and throw in there. I prefer red/yellow peppers with a few carrots thrown in.
  • So eating a bulk of my calories in the evening doesn't matter?
