Did you do any exercise this time to lose the weight?

Trying to lose weight, while getting more muscle and less fat. I def know my logging hasnt been diligent. I need to change that. I feel like I am more in shape, less bloated. Clothes feel the same, maybe the slightest hint of feeling little more loose.

Did you lose the 125 lbs by eating carbs, or doing low carb instead like the atkins diet?

Very good points! I need to think of this as a long-term goal and stick with reducing carbs and sugar. I have spoken to my Dr. And he feels a lower carb diet would suit me best. I am an "O"'blood type, so I am a meat eater.

I had it done while I fastes at 7:00 AM. I am wondering if anyone has sustained a low carb, high fat lifestyle, or is it too hard? I know Atkins worked for me in the past, But I got too bored And overwhelmed with lack of choices and being Italian, I quit.

Did you count carbs/ calories per day? If so, which and how many? What would/is a typical Day consist of for you in terms of food?

I am 6'5, 375 lbs. down about 25 lbs since July. I work out 4 times a week, doing weights and followed by 20 mins of cardio. I am a male,36 yrs old.

So I weigh much more than you and have it set at 2lbs a week. I tend to eat about half of my workout calories back on days I work out. On non workout days, I tend to be a little more hungrier due to not having those "extra" calories to consume. I need to lose about 130lbs to be at a great goal weight, hence why I am set at…

I am a male, 35 years old. I did Atkins in 2005, and lost over 80lbs in 8 months without counting 1 calorie! I am now at my heaviest weight by eating everything and not controlling carbs or sugar. I can tell you that I lost 80 lbs on Atkins back in 2005, not having counted 1 calorie! I feel the whole notion of calorie in, vs calorie out, or every calorie is equal is foolish. Gary Taubes has written many books on this subject, and basically sugar, carbs, etcetera are the main reason for obesity. I am about to go back…

I guess i can set it for 2 lbs a week which is 2580 calories. At 1.5 lbs it is 2800 calories. I can see how hungry i feel at 2lbs a week, and change it from there i suppose.

So I should see the scale eventually hit 250 lbs if I am in a calorie deficit plus if I lift weights?
