What weekly weight loss goal is best?

Options
I have my weekly goal set at 2lbs currently. I tend to be hungry a lot and wake up at night to eat snacks, although that is probably NES, Night Eating Syndrome. My question is if I am working out 4 times a week, should I up my weekly goal to 1.5lbs a week and not eat back my workout calories? I think 2lbs a week goal is too low calorie wise for me. Any thoughts or what worked for you? Thanks!

Totally depends. Do you have 5lbs to lose or 150? That makes a big difference. If you think 2lbs is too much of a deficit then change it. There's no rule that says you MUST lose 2 lbs a week.

At 375 pounds, 2 pounds/week is a good rate to aim for. You may want to look at making some switches in your diet to incorporate more satiating foods. (I'm assuming you're eating back at least some of your exercise calories.)
