I coach kettle bell classes and couldn't recommend them highly enough. Compound dynamic lifts that are fairly easy to master. Do take time to nail the technique though. Great fat burning workout!!!

This isn't the case at all. I burnt 2005 cals on Monday in 4hrs (tracked with my fitbit). If I'd done more hours I'd have burnt even more. You exercise a lot you burn a lot. That was an odd statement, unless you mean cal burn with no activity, I might have missed that point.

Hell yes!!!!

You really cant go with what MFP or the internet says in terms of calorie burn. I always use my heart rate monitor and never eat the calories back anyway. I'd bet that's the biggest reason folk don't lose. I burn roughly three quarters of what MFP says I should on most activates.

In my head you were talking about a computer mouse I was trying to figure the connection with food!!!!!

Apologies if this has been said before in the thread but how do you know what you are burning with your walk? Are you using a heart rate monitor or just going but what the internet etc says you should lose with your walk. If you are estimating then I'd bet that's the issue, you are probably burning less than you think then…

Guys thanks very much. I'm very happy in my own skin but a wee compliment is always nice x The other thing I'd like to say to folk is that I see loads of 'older' people on here and that's fantastic I'm 46 now and I'm the best shape of my life literally. It's never too late to reinvent yourself. I know the fitness element…

You can if you run like Forrest Gump!!!

Been there myself, went from 275lbs to 175lbs in 2012 kept it all off and feel great. Done things since I could only have dreamt of. Your life will change beyond recognition when you get to the end of your journey.

Doesn't matter where you've been all that matters is where you are headed. Keep at it, doing brilliant.

If you're the same size why worry? Weight is only a simple guide, surely how you look and feel is more important?
-
Your weight has increased but have you increased in size? If not then you're building muscle. I'm 10lbs or so heavier than I was a year ago but in the same sized clothes.

Need to re-think the goal buddy. Unless you're planning to cut off a couple of limbs that's just unrealistic!!! Set yourself a challenging but do-able goal or you'll just get down heartened. Half that would be tough but probably achievable if you watch the calorie intake and bust your *kitten* at the gym.

Thanks Debbie

Thanks for the response. So are you saying almost instantly and certainly that day? I had heard three days

Its denser than fat not heavier, big difference.
