Your body composition is my goal. I'm 5'6" and currently 150,down from 165, but am very jiggly.

No, it won't.

Even your posture and stance improved. You look more confident. Great work!

Squatting is one of the most natural human movements. How else do you pick things off the ground? That blog writer is ignorant.

And your whole foods are laden with chemicals. ...because chemical compounds form all life.

Back up to 75lb on the squat. Excited!

+10000. When I worked in Alaska and traveled to the North Slope, I understood immediately why chronic disease is a problem among the Alaska Native population. A case of water costs $24, fruits and veg? Ridiculously expensive and rotten. Gallon of milk? $10 each. Sodas were cheap, of course, as well processed foods. It was…

The one thing I will admit can be a barrier to entry isn't the food but the cooking oils, seasonings (including pricier items like vinegars, sauces, SPICES jeez louise the price of spices and herbs) and cookware (if you're really just starting out). But those amortize quickly and start paying for themselves. Case in point:…

Not just heavy enough but flavorful and appealing enough to override the temptation of a burger and fries. I imagine the novelty of working at a fast food joint and eating its food will wear off, though. But until the temptation subsides, make yourself a lunch you can't refuse.

I've lost and kept off 5 lbs/2 inches for two months. I want to lose more but the fact that I'm at least keeping off what I've lost is good. I lifted 65lbs on the squat today, which felt very easy...for the first few reps. Additionally, I was able to improve my stationary lunges so I didn't falter too much.

We're nearly twins! Age: 29 Height: 5'6" SW: 165 CW: 158 GW: 140

2 large eggs cooked in a tablespoon of butter keeps me going for ages. It's my most-bang-for-your-buck meal.

I bet dollars to donuts every person with a squat booty at my gym is in the overweight BMI category. They look trim but technically tip the scales.

I see this the way I see the pro-smokers' movement (yes, they exist). I don't shame my loved ones who smoke, don't mind if they smoke around me but that doesn't mean I condone the lifestyle. Similarly, they know how bad smoking is but they don't try to promote it positively and create a culture around it.

Cardio: songs with 4/4 time to match my (slow) pace. My favorite? Billy Joel's Only the Good Die Young.

I play D&D and read fantasy/Sci fi! Currently read Stephenson's The Diamond Age and playing a level 12 Dwarf Bard in a military campaign.

You're not far off there. Women only began shaving, or were encouraged to shave, as clothes became more revealing! It's an early 20th century development in the Western world.

Being in an LDR has certain benefits, lol. But I have to laugh at the "stock photos" you see in these and other identity movements (no makeup, no shampoo, etc. ): they're all relatively hairless, pretty, or have nice hair anyway! Show me the trolls like me who would give Chewbacca a run for his money, haha.

Your glutes and hamstrings might not be firing correctly. Add glute bridges, hip thrusts, ball leg curls and lunges to your routine. Here is a good YouTube video on it:https://youtu.be/DvQXREKFfpY

Unfortunately there are not entire industries, vending machines or supermarket aisles dedicated to selling back rubs, hugs, kittens or winning bingo. :(

Getting back into lifting after a long hiatus.

New personal record on the deadlift (105 pounds for 10 reps) and the barbell row (60 pounds for 10 reps).

Seek advice from a registered dietitian, NOT a nutritionist. Any snake oil salesman can call themselves a nutritionist but an RD is licensed and certified by national and state boards. Best of luck.

I make a quick curry that's filking for under 500/ serving. It's in my recipes.

I had a few coworkers at an old job who swore they never ate veg and I wondered...do they ever poop? Must explain the bad mood, lol. I don't understand how adults can brag about not eating fruits and veg.

Weight gain fetishists using MFP to satisfy their kink. I've seen a few posts in this community to that effect.

I agree. $600 minimum for a reliable bike. As far as comfortable saddles, Brooks leather saddles are expensive but are the best. Avoid very cushy saddles. They initially feel good but ultimately cause trouble. Go to your local bike shop first. Shop around, test ride bikes. Don't be afraid to take your time. If any bike…

Are you sure this doc is an actual MD or DO? Sounds like naturopathic "doctor" nonsense. Time for a new physician, if they're talking about toxins...

I don't eat breakfast but I do make a big batch of lunches for the week. I've been on a curry kick(using tins of curry paste with canned chickpeas, frozen spinach, canned new potatoes, some sort of fresh veg like butternut squash and canned coconut milk), so I have flavorful easy lunches all week. It tastes better the next…
