I would love to join. Just gave birth to my first baby 4 months ago. I've lost 16lbs since since logging on here faithfully since October and still have ideally another 25-30 lbs to lose. I've been very motivated since october to keep up with my caloric deficit and daily walks with the baby along with strength training I…

Thank you for the insight. This helps me understand the concepts better :)

Thank you! :)

Where can you locate in the nutrition tab your deficit? Would it be under "Calories over weekly goal" or "net calories under weekly goal"? Sorry if it sounds dumb, just want to be sure I understand.

I agree it's the day to day choices that really matter and a vacation shouldn't make you feel guilty for over indulging! And a Disney cruise is definitely something I am dying to go on, only bc I am a disney nerd :P

I hope you had a nice time! :)

Ditto this!

I say as long as your in a calorie deficit everyday and you are working out during the week AND NOT eating your calories back, you should lose the weight. Try doing some strength training to mix it up with your own body weight or some dumb bells. Muscle burns more calories than fat. :)

Just curious, but why would carbs be so high if you want to lose weight? I am looking to lose weight and I always have the notion that carbs will make you gain (even though they provide us with energy). I have my protein and carbs at both 40% and fat at 20%..I'm still new to this and trying to figure it out. I think this…

I do know you can go to http://www.iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ and it will calculate it for you

Curious about this too (I'm a newb when it comes to macros).

This is the best thing I've read for someone that would do once/month weigh ins! I first thought people were bananas for weighing themselves everyday. As I for one, have always had an unhealthy relationship with the scale. I asked a similar question yesterday on here…

^^ Completely agree. One meal won't make you fat, just like one healthy meal won't make you skinny. I know it can be hard to go out when you are trying to lose weight and eat healthy, but this is life. You got to enjoy stuff like this. It's his birthday, one day out of 365. Enjoy yourself with your family and workout and…

Good to know. I guess you don't burn a whole lot when you do strength train. Kind of a bummer but I am sure it will show it's benefits sooner or later :)

Yes you are correct. I do not have acid reflux. It would be the alcohol.

Haha this made me chuckle

I am scared to bike in LA. The drivers are...well...I won't comment so I won't offend anyone. lol

I'm on week 11! :) Love her program!
-
I do! I am currently on week 11 (including pre-training)! With a 2 week break since January I have lost 10lbs! Still more to go but I love her program. It would be awesome to find other girls that are a part of it as well! Please feel free to add me :)

Thanks! I have a food scale and log my meals.:)
-
Good info! I think I will give that a try!
-
Great advice! I have always been scared to weigh everyday because I am a bit obsessive (in a bad way) when it comes to the number on the scale. I will give that a try since I feel I have stalled. Thanks! :)

I find myself not logging on the weekends, whether that has to do with my cheat day or what not. I am still getting used to this, just started in January. I think you are right that I am logging too little, too inaccurately, especially since the beginning of March when I derailed to due illness. January and February I went…
