We all have those 'trigger' foods that cause our demise. We choose not to keep them in the house because they wreck havoc on our will power. Mine are potato chips and ice cream....what are your trigger foods?

It's national hot dog day; so that's what I'm having for dinner...with some home made potato salad

Happy Friday, and stay on track for the weekend....

Hope everyone had a good 4th of July Holiday. I enjoyed BBQ but did not overeat...stayed away from the bread and had my burger over a salad....and for all the other side dishes....I grabbed a spoon and allowed myself a heaping spoonful of everything so I got to taste it all in small portions. And for every light beer I…

@AlecB62 - you are an excellent motivation....losing what you've lost and sticking with it for over a year...good for your!
-
@mollytb24 - you have similar goals like me; I too want to lose 90 but would be thrilled to lose 60. I can relate is what I'm saying.
-
Been absent for about a month; broke my foot but I'm on the mend and ready to get back on track.

Here is my latest challenge; I notice that I am not consistent with logging in and tracking every day; I will do it for a few days and then stop and then start again. I am going to challenge myself to do it for twelve days straight....that is a realistic goal. After that....then we can see if I can keep it up.

Good Morning everyone; every Monday is a clean slate; so good luck and keep tracking your food!

Steamed salmon with mixed veggies....love it.

Two more days until weigh-in.....
-
I just started and my first weigh-in with myself showed a 3.4 lb. loss. So I am very motivated to keep going.
-
New week everyone; stay motivated and track your food and fitness. Let's all meet back here on Friday morning to report any weight loss. Friday's is my personal weigh-in day.
-
Sunday night at 11:30 pm and I made it through the weekend without deviating from the plan....first for me because weekends have been my downfall. Opted for seltzer instead of beer and went out to eat twice and made very healthy choices vs. what I normally do. No desert either. Very proud of myself.

It's the weekend and I issue a challenge to all 'newbies' not to back slide and forget the tools we use on our diets.
-
Did my first weigh in with myself since joining...and I lost three pounds....it's a start and it definitely makes me want to keep going.
-
Well I need to lose 100 so I feel your pain.....Love this website; excellent tools for tracking progress.
-
Trying to find the courage to get on the scale to see if there is any movement; maybe at the end of this week.
-
Am I the only one who finds weekends challenging to stay on track?
-
Keep motivated everyone
-
If you fall off the wagon get back on; if you've neglected tracking for a day or two, don't beat yourself up. Today is a new day and start fresh!
-
keep going everyone....I am definitely learning a lot by tracking my food....let's put it this way; I now understand why I have not lost any weight in the last six months despite all the exercise I've been doing (walking, gym, personal trainer etc). Even when we are making healthy choices, you don't realize how critical…

This week's goal: to log in and keep the food tracker accurate for a solid week and to exercise at least three times this week. Who is with me?
-
- I stand corrected; I actually can go back to the day before and complete the food tracker; thank you @shadow2soul for your input.
-
I am definitely in this category; I have fifty pounds to lose; heck my goal is 80.
-
Hey I learned something; if you forget to track your food for dinner and plan to do it in the morning; it looks like you can't go back....so we have to remember to do the food tracker on the day it applies to...because each day seems to be a clean slate with regards to the food tracker. Good to know

Staying motivated is key; and I hope using this website is a great tool. I have to figure out how to download the APP on my phone (not very tech smart) so I can track even when I'm not sitting at the computer. Good Luck everyone.
