  • Excedrin has this new commercial, where they supposedly worked with a woman who has chronic migraines to create a simulation device to help her mother feel what she feels , when she gets a migraine. I LOVE the idea! I just wish there actually were some sort of device that can simulate our pain, so that our loved ones could…
  • I don't know what that video is or why this happened!! Anyway, go to YouTube and search 'Jessica smith seated'. It's a 19 minutes or so video.
  • Here's a link to a video I find mostly doable, https://youtu.be/NQY8GElkkJI It is a routine you can do while seated. Also, if you go to the appstore and search stretching, you will find so many apps. I figure that stretching is still working out the muscles and is also helpful to those of us in pain, if we don't overdo it.…
  • Sounds yummy, he sure knows his stuff! :) You know you're right. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I used to get the veggie burgers and notice that there is a full line of stuff that is 'vegetarian meats', even chicken nuggets. I guess my fear always was that it would taste too much like meat, and that's a deal…

  • What sort of exercise or movements do you think you can do? I have found some apps that have some light exercises and I skip any that I find too hard for me.
  • I'm not sure what that would be, but definitely interested.

  • Wonderful job! Congratulations and keep it up :)
  • This looks amazing! I have trouble getting enough protein in, seeing as I pretty much hate most meat including chicken! I love vegetables and legumes though, so this stew looks really good to me with the chickpeas...yum! Thanks for sharing. <3

  • @binaryfu RESPECT, my brother. I hear you, and have nothing but respect to your 'old fashioned' way of thinking . God bless you and your wonderful wife. @cjdsign I firmly believe that there is a correlation between chronic illnesses and a hard *kitten life! I'm sorry you had to go through ALL of this hardship in your life.…
  • Isn't it funny how we have come to accept other people's views of us and make excuses for them not knowing better or acknowledging our pain? "But you don't look sick or in pain and least of all disabled!" , that's many people's perception and we're the ones that need to prove it somehow. I personally had to teach myself…
  • Do I ever?! Just last Sunday we took the kids to the pool and apparently I overdid it with playing with my 2 year old, lifting him and such, because today is the first day I even come close to MY normal. Hope you feel better soon, sweetheart!
  • No applause necessary ;) , I do what I have to for my family, you know? I really wish people would understand how hard it is for some people to lose the weight the traditional way either because of sloooow metabolism or lack of ability to exercise. I got slammed on a different website just for saying how many calories I…
  • Look at how happy you are! Way to go, you look amazing ;)
  • Hi all! I am a 40 year old female with fibromyalgia, hyperextension of the joints, chronic lower back pain, essential tremors, carpal tunnel in both wrists, cubital tunnel syndrome in my elbows, perimenopause and ADD. I have to teenage sons and a toddler. I work part time in a kitchen where I'm the cook. I have lost 50 lbs…
  • I laughed out loud, thanks for that! :D Nutella has always been my vice too. I used to get the big jar, put it in the fridge to harden up and not be so messy, then wait until everyone's asleep, take the jar with my spoon and sit in front of the TV. Before long the jar would be empty! I've tried to control my cravings for…

  • Wow! What an accomplishment! You look amazing, thanks for posting this. It is very inspirational :)
  • Your weights and sizes are so similar to mine. At my heaviest this time 265 lbs , I was squeezing in stretched out 18 jeans. At my ultimate highest ever 340 lbs, i was 24/26. Right now at 214.6 lbs, I'm fitting comfortably in 14 bottoms and xl tops, also due to my arms!!!
  • That's awesome! I'm waiting to hit 'onderland' to get my nose pierced as well. It would be my first piercing besides my ears!! So excited! Only 15.4 lbs to go. :D
  • Bump for inspiration!
  • That's awesome. Are there any particular strength videos you recommend? I'm thinking of starting as soon as possible. I do have my son's dumbbell set, so that's a plus. ;)
  • Way to go!! That was very smart to do and very generous to share. Thank you!
  • To fit into a size 12 jeans! I've dropped down from a very tight 18 to a nice fitting 14. So hopefully soon?!! ;)
  • Hello, hello! Turning 41 this year, perimenopausal, have fibromyalgia, and very excited to be part of this group! I started my journey in January and lost 44-41 lbs, depending on my stupid hormones! >:) I already requested to join.
  • OMG!! This is so inspiring! Look at your legs!!! They are so thin! My legs look like your before picture even after 40+ lbs lost. This gives me hope, that maybe one day soon, if I persevere I will not have 'thunder thighs' anymore. Thank you and congratulations on your amazing loss.
  • You were beautiful before, but stunning after! Way to go!
  • I think that's why she called it 'faux sushi'! I think it sounds great, will have to try it. Thanks for sharing!
  • To my knowledge, you can make your own quark by bringing skim milk to a boil, then adding lemon juice or vinegar. Continue boiling until it curdles, then strain. You can leave it in the strainer until the desired consistency. Usually half an hour would do. Great recipes!
  • Thank you guys..I'm currently making a list of everything I come across and any suggestions and will go through them one by one to see what works for me. I tried some squats yesterday...BIG MISTAKE!! Still paying for it but it's my own fault, I should have known it would be hard on my knees. Again, thank you!
