  • I had the exact same problem! I find that setting myself a 'cut-off' on my phone that pops up saying "End of eating window" is quite useful. Another good thing to do is to have your last meal and eat it slowly- make sure you're accepting the fact that is your last meal of the day, and then close your food diary on here.…
  • Not sure on the Pica, but I've got anaemia and I take iron supplements- one a day and I'm set. They sell them OTC in most pharmacies - Galfer is a good brand. For most food cravings, though, it's usually a deficiency that actually causes it- so maybe upping your iron will help with the pica too, anyway? It might be worth…
  • Go for it! Burpees are killer but so good for overall fitness and strength. I know what you mean- I started with water bottles when I first got into exercise, it's an amazing feeling to move up!
  • @rsamuelsgold Welcome! Yep, it's about doing compound lifts :) I'm really enjoying it so far- I hadn't really done any heavy lifting before now, so my weights are low enough to begin with, but I'm already up from 10kg on squats/deadlifts/rows to 17.5kg and up from 5kg overhead/bench to 11kg in the two weeks I'm doing the…
  • Added you! :)
  • So my introduction: I'm 24, 5ft5, and I'm currently doing the Strong Lifts program, alongside some resistance/cardio on alternating days. Finally getting near to where I want to be!
  • Invite sent :)
  • Anyone who likes can add me- I've been here a while and I'm currently studying some sports nutrition stuff, and love learning more about nutrition/exercise. Happy to share any help I can!
  • Both invited! :)
  • Honestly- you'd be better off to lose the weight slowly, and in a sustainable way, without cutting out any major food groups. A good, balanced diet, with a constant deficit you can live with will help you far more, long term. If you're consistent, it'll pay off. If you'd like you can message me and I'll help any way I can!
  • @VeggieLoverMarcie What's your job and current step count daily (if you know it) like? Do you move much during the day? This is an excellent tool: http://www.sailrabbit.com/bmr/. It explains the actual activity levels, and you can put in how often you intend to exercise- and how much you want to lose weekly. It will tell…
  • Round 10 but my first round: CW: 130.2lbs GW for 7/21: 128lbs GW: 119lbs Day / Weight / Comments 7/12 - 130.2lbs. Feeling fairly light but very sore from starting StrongLifts- enthusiastic! 7/13 - 131.4lbs. Was absolutely starving yesterday and had insane DOMS so I'm fairly sure it's all water! Staying positive! 7/14 7/15…

  • I'd love to get involved! Anything that keeps me accountable is good by me :) Round 10 but my first round: CW: 130.2lbs GW for 7/21: 128lbs GW: 119lbs Day / Weight / Comments 7/12 - 130.2lbs. • @Sami_Kachai Just my opinion here! :) Lightly active should be the level you choose, based on your job and steps taken daily. If you workout, that's a bonus, but the calculator for your TDEE should be what you expend every single day doing normal day-to-day activities. Your workouts aren't strenuous enough, combined with…
  • Log every day! Add if you want!
  • Always helps to help! Add me if you want :)
  • I'd be happy to help out if you'd like!
  • I'd love to help out :) 5ft5, 130lbs, I've lost 70 so far (in one year) and a few more to go through cardio, strength training, and eating right. I've ended up at nearly 41% muscle and only 20% body fat :D I'd love to help someone out :)
  • Your weight will fluctuate over the course of a day- based on water retention, sodium intake, food intake... some foods take longer to digest and if you've eaten a huge meal the night before, late, you might retain more even on the morning weigh-ins. What I do is weigh daily in the morning, before I've eaten, and then take…
  • If you just get up and do 250 steps an hour- you'll be fine. I have a sedentary job but still burn 300+ calories extra a day just by getting up every hour and moving.
