Would you be less nervous if you gained 5 or 10 pounds? If so, set MFP to gain slowly @ .5 pound/week or less and start a strength training routine that will compliment your running. To my thinking, that would be one way to feel empowered. But I'm in a very different situation so YMMV. Good luck!

Fixed it for you :D

@KickassAmazon76 You say 'liked' ... Is it no longer available for download? I've had it in my phone for a while, so possible...

I get a lot of my iron from smoked mussels and instant oatmeal.

I've wanted to get one for months. What kind do you have and how did you find the workouts?

Don't wait for tomorrow. Start today!

I've seen some incredible transformations on MFP and STILL yours is IMPRESSIVE.

You made the right choice; instead of wallowing you fixed something you CAN control. And age? What age? You look 15 years younger. I looked twice to make sure ;)

I would get a wall-mounted bar that can attach it to studs with proper hardware. Nothing sets one back as much as injuries. That door frame looks ready to splinter. Good luck!

WTG! You are already reaping countless health benefits of weightloss and it shows! Now for turning those changes into a sustainable long term lifestyle. You can do it!

I caught my dog when he decided he liked freedom in the park more than staying on my good side 🙂 I ran after him and it felt fabulous: light on my feet, no pain, just incredible. Just for perspective: I have had intermittent foot pain from injury for a decade. 47 pounds lost and a million steps walked later, I'm a new…

So cool! You are shrinking as your kittens are growing. Great work!

My advice is to really log your food. You've very little to lose and so inaccuracy is holding you back.
-
What are you using it for? I liked it for my herniated disc but not for my ankles. Still have it languishing the back of my storage locker, lol

The official recepies on here are a recent addition. So don't worry about cooking them if you don't want to. People have been losing weight on MFP for ages, and it's quite simple to do. Choose a reasonable rate of weightloss, log every day and stick to the calories alotted. The best additional tool to use with MFP is a…

For downhill skiing please don't neglect to have your bindings adjusted after significant weightloss. They will keep protecting you from injury that way.

It could also be that under the pressure of current events both restaurants are struggling to keep ingredients fresh and the kitchens staffed. In such a situation it's easy to imagine quality and even food safety being impacted. Feel better soon, OP!

Shutting down negative self-talk can have incredible effect on weightloss success. Believe me I know. Easier some days than others, true. However, a continuous effort toward healthier thinking as well as healthier living has a synergistic effect.

Only if you pet him when he does something right ;)

Oatmeal is not that great a source of fiber. Despite what it says on the front of the box in big print. Most of what is written on cereal boxes comes straight from the mouth of grain lobbies. Unless you want to eat it for its taste, or the fact that you need the added iron, look elsewhere for amazing fiber content. Like…

Everyone posting before me have ably addressed the question of the 'doctor' and 'diet' she recommended. So let's address your stress. Find workouts you like and can do now while the gym is closed. Try them. Repeat. I personally recommend yoga to everyone who is struggling with stress. It has helped me so much with mine.…

10 gram of blackstrap molasses in my first (and usually only) cup of coffee. I need the iron, and I want the sweetness. Then I add 80-100 ml of skim lactose-free milk.

You can bank them for the next day or the weekend. I get hungry the day after an intense workout. Maybe you so too Some people like to have an indulgent meal once a week. Basically you can view your calorie budget as weekly. Whatever works.
-
I need to see a video of how you do that. Preferably while wearing a funny hat and making pigeon sounds. Call me whimsical....

Get a kitchen scale and weigh and log every morsel that goes in your mouth. Set an achievable weekly weightloss goal. Stick to your calorie goal for a few months and you will will be encouraged by the changes you see. You can do it!

Repurchased warm jeans and jeggings for winter. Last year I had the 16s and wore them through in the crotch, because chub rub. Now not only am I back in 12s comfortably but my thighs barely rub when I walk. I also grabbed the 10s because they were 50%off thinking they will be 'goal pants.' I was able to get into them…

If it's not weird for people to photograph and post on social media their overly indulgent restaurant meals, then I have no second thoughts calorie counting my food. @psychod787 I need more 'gym' friends - how to find them when gyms are locked down?

Perhaps tracking accurately and maintaining a small deficit combined with stable macros and caffeine intake would allow you to find a way to lose pounds slowly but comfortably. How big was the deficit that triggered the migraines?
