Good for you. My employer was never comfortable with people working in places where he couldn't see them (salesmen on the road for example). Now I'm mostly into office work, I had opportunity to work from home in the early days of COVID19. Then one day I got a call saying they were bringing everybody back in to the office…

Please remember some people only know about soup from packages off the supermarket shelf. They've never seen the real thing.

Congrats to you on doing it the first time. Sure you can do it again. Sometimes I feel guilty being on this site. I can't relate to the 100lb scenario. I lost 10lbs as intended, but my struggle is with the 5lbs that keep on coming back.

Think of the slightly confusing issue of England, Great Britain, and the United Kingdom. I remember reading this story https://metro.co.uk/2020/11/29/couple-stopped-driving-to-wales-to-deliver-christmas-presents-13672924/ at the end of last month. An English couple was driving along a road which crossed the border into…

The European Union is similar in size to the USA, but they limited movement between…

There's a list of mandatory ones to be certified for entry to school - measles, mumps, rubella as mentioned above, plus a few others. Everybody immunized, nobody…

You two are so lucky. My boss suddenly got paranoid about anyone working where he can't see them.

Intere Interesting. I know two ladies in their 60s who had bad pneumonia in December 2019, long before the name COVID was given to the current disease. One of them says she noticed an unusual amount of emergency activity during the time she was in that private hospital then.

Not to sound too morbid, but a few days ago a man who is the same age as me died suddenly. Usually death is just somebody's bad news, but when it is someone who I've known a long time, it feels completely different. When we look around and consider the children of people in our generation are all grown up, and some of the…

Excellent. Congrats on the effort and dedication you would've put in to this.
