  • At the end of 8th grade, which is when I stupidly decided to starve myself for the entire summer. Edit: 8th grade is when I thought I looked fat, but I wasn't actually overweight. I didn't get into the overweight category until 18, but that was only by 10 pounds. Lots of body image issues before than though
  • I thought it was zero calorie for the longest time because I didn't think it was actual oil but maybe just like an oil like substance lol. I'm so happy I don't use them anymore anyways because I probably would have sprayed so much of it without knowing
  • According to Google, ice breakers have 2 calories so if you're eating 30, that's 60 calories. I would definitely log that!
  • I want to get down to 120 for now then maybe 115
  • Yeah exactly! I drink so much diet soda, but it usually keeps me from eating other sweets so I guess the 8-10 calories aren't hurting anyone
  • Well I'm not sure about other things but I know a packet of sweet n low has 4 calories and other sweeteners have 5. I use 3-6 per day not including other "zero calorie" things. But yeah I probably shouldn't worry about it, I just haven't been losing much weight recently so it crossed my mind haha
  • I put myself as sedentary, the only exercise I do is walking maybe 5 times a week (usually 4-6 miles). I'm going back to school in less than 3 weeks and I'll have access to 3 gyms on top of walking everywhere because I don't take a car to college since it's in the city, so I plan on being a lot more active soon
  • I'm around 5'4.5, but I was 150 pounds in January when I started a diet but it only lasted maybe 2 weeks. Then I decided to try again in May and I was magically down to 140. I have no idea how I lost 10 pounds because my eating habits didn't change (or so I thought) but who knows, it was a good push. Since May I've lost…
  • Like I said, my goal isn't actually to lose 1.5 a week and if I was losing that much then I would be eating more. When I set it for .5 a week it gives me something like 1300-1400 calories and since I'm not even losing on 1200 I don't want to increase my calories. I do not expect to lose 1.5 a week, .5 would be great. But…
  • I like Sprite Zero and Diet Root Beer
  • It's a huge lifestyle change for me. I ate SO much before, Dunkin Donuts every morning (usually a medium caramel iced coffee with extra cream and extra sugar, and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and/or munchkins and/or a donut), plus Dunkin had a convenience store attached to it so I also got sweet tea and chips and…
  • No I log everything, even diet soda/zero calorie drinks and gum lol. Diet soda mostly so I just know how much I drank that day and because diet soda has a good amount of sodium and I like to track sodium just in case in gain weight so I can go back and see what made me retain water. I feel like you should log the oil spray…
  • 10 cups of salad (lettuce, carrots, and whatever else was in the bag)
  • Whaaaaat? I love that yogurt, there's so many different flavors and they're all good haha.
  • I mean it's not really surprising, it only has 25 calories a cup and almonds are around 7 calories each. It doesn't stop me from drinking it, it's a great milk alternative  I'm sure whatever they put in almond milk won't kill me haha
  • I thought crystal light was 10 calories per packet? I would log it but if it fits your calories go for it! If you drink 6 bottles of water and add it to every bottle, that's 60 calories a day which is 420 a week, that's why I would log it haha. It adds up! Nothing wrong with crystal light though, I drink a bunch of diet…
  • It's cheap! By the way, if you decide to shop there, somebody posted a picture on Instagram about these things by the brand Fit&Active called 14 calorie bars which are "Vanilla flavored cream bars in 3 fruit flavors (orange vanilla, cherry vanilla, strawberry vanilla). They're Popsicles and they're only 14 calories each…

  • Nothing except keep doing what you're doing. You can't spot reduce but losing fat will make it go away eventually. I know it's not what you wanna hear though :)
  • So did I, I had 3000 calories yesterday. I'm making up for it by eating less the next couple days, which a lot of people say not to do because it could start a binge/starve cycle but I think if you can handle it then it's best not to mess up the weekly deficit. If you don't want to do that, then just know that you won't…
  • I don't cut it out but I definitely eat way less of it. It's usually just too difficult to work into my calories. I had Wendy's a couple weeks ago and the only thing I could get was a chicken sandwich (the plain, cheap kind). I even used my own mayo. That ended up being 400 calories, and I wasn't the least bit full. I…
  • That's interesting, I was just going with the numbers to make it easier. I'm sure it's a lot more difficult than that though. To be honest I have no clue what my maintenance calories are. I just used an online calculator and it said it's around 1700. I was just estimating :) but thank you for sharing your experience! I'm…
  • Oh yeah, I don't know why I didn't even think about that lol. Thanks!
  • I lost around 5-6 pounds. I'm 5'4 and 128 pounds, so if you're bigger you could definitely lose weight faster. 12 pounds is the most you should lose in 6 weeks but if you're not obese, it'll be really hard. And 42 pounds is just impossible unless she cuts off some limbs lol. Good luck!
  • I don't drink but I had Panera and frozen pizza, which stick out as high sodium but I eat pretty high sodium things anyways. But I'll drink some water anyways and see if that helps. Thanks! Haha yeah, that's what it seems like. It sucks because I was so excited for all the calories I saved up for and it feels like it's not…
  • I just recently started exercising (nothing too extreme, just walking) but I lost around 8 pounds without any exercise at all, which is good considering I didn't have too much to lose to begin with. I like being able to eat more calories with exercise though
  • I just tried the Arctic Zero Cookie Dough Chip and I gotta say I like it better than Halo Top in my opinion. Maybe because I'm obsessed with cookie dough and Halo Top doesn't really have many flavors that really stand out like crazy. Halo Top is still better than the non-chunky Arctic Zero flavors though :) Cookie Dough…
  • For breakfast I usually have oatmeal, Greek yogurt, or waffles with PB2 and light cool whip/blueberries, or eggs with turkey bacon, or chocolate Cheetos with almond cashew milk (which I sometimes eat as a snack too lol). For lunch it's a salad with a wrap (I use Tumero's 60 calorie wraps), or lasagna rolls (with turkey…
  • I'm not vegan or vegetarian but yeah I assumed some vegans or vegetarians wouldn't like it very much for that reason haha if I didn't eat meat I would probably feel so wrong eating that burger
  • It's been 100 degrees here for a while and I don't really do any serious work out (I just walk a couple miles most days) so I try to go at 8am at the latest. If that's too early for you or you can't do that, maybe work out inside with a fan on?
